The cottage is perfectly based for walks from the door to the Newlands Valley or over Catbells, or take the car over Newlands Pass and explore the quieter western lakes including Crummock Water and Buttermere. The cottage is ideal for a couple or a family who are looking for a peaceful base from which to enjoy an action-packed holiday within the heart of the Lake District.
