Tides Inn has been recently refreshed with interior paint, as well as furniture additions! Our home is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath oasis from your daily stresses with just a quick walk to the beach. An outside shower is available as well as a gas grill, picnic table, and decks to take in the clean ocean air. Our home is an excellent choice to vacation with its proximity to shopping, restaurants, arts, sightseeing, laser tag, boating, fishing, bird watching, jet skiing, surfing, kite boarding, golfing, and eco tours.

Tides Inn is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, surrounded by bike & walking paths and just a few blocks from the beach. We are also convenient to Kitty Hawk, just a couple of miles away. Bring your boat, the Dock Street boat launch is less than a mile from our home. Walk to area restaurants, shopping, or the neighborhood coffee shop!

There is a fully equipped kitchen which includes dishes, cookware, cutlery, barware, & glassware for your every culinary need. Appliances include a blender, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, range and oven, and Refrigerator/Freezer with ice & water in the door.

We want you to have a wonderful, relaxing getaway in our Outer Banks home! Part of ensuring the same experience for everyone relies on the housekeepers, inspection personnel, and maintenance repair personnel being able to get the house in tip top shape for you and your family in-between renters. They do a fantastic job of making sure everything is done during a very short window. Check-out time is 10 am and departure instructions are included in your welcome letter. Check-in time is set for 4 pm to allow them the time they need to prepare the home for your arrival.

We understand that there are times when you may need an early check-in time. We are happy to offer guaranteed early check-in if you have confirmed & paid for this additional service 2 weeks prior to arrival. This payment allows us to compensate our house staff for prioritizing our home for your early arrival at 1 pm. As a courtesy to our service vendors, we ask that you please do not park at the home, drop off personal items, or ask our vendors if the home is ready yet if you do not choose to coordinate a guaranteed early check-in. We appreciate your understanding as we prepare the home for your getaway!

Perfect home for small family

This was our first time to Outer Banks. I wanted to find a home close to the beach and fishing pier. This home did not disappoint! The owner really thought about everything their guest would need. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything and even has a crockpot. They also have plenty of night lights throughout the home which to me is important with kids that don’t like the dark. The only thing thing I would suggest to future renters is to make sure to have a dirty clothes bag or clothes basket because the washer/dryer are in the lower part of the home. We would 100% forsure stay here again.

4th of July Weekend Stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little house. It was so clean upon check in and the space was so roomy. My kids loved all of the different themed rooms and walking around to look at all of the different fun things all over the house. This house truly felt like home away from home. The area was quiet and everyone was very friendly. The house was just a short walk from the beach and conveniently located close to Awful Arthur's. The communication about check in was easy and our host was very kind. We will be back!

Great stay, great location!

This is perfect for a beach getaway; a week, a weekend, whatever. Just book it. Clean, extremely well-stocked, walking distance to the beach and Avalon pier. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Thank you for sharing your home! The kids must had loved growing up in the beach house like this - every room is an adventure 😁. We loved everything about the stay - house is very clean and cozy. It’s a home away from home. The beach is just a short walk away and amazing! The place is decorated with love and imagination and super comfortable. We have been on OBX many times over the years - this neighborhood is different and fun. Neighbors are friendly and houses around have character. Very much recommend this lovely place.

Had a Blast!!

This home did not disappoint! The house was cozy and clean, and it came with a sunroom that was lovely to read in on one of the rainy days we had. The best part though, was we only three blocks to the beach! Our doggies were happy campers too, there was plenty of grass for them to smell and play in. The only negative is that we had to leave so soon. Can wait for next summer to come back!

This was a very cute house within walking distance to the ocean and the pier!! The home is really close to the new Target, which was very convenient. The pictures represent the home very well. The owner was very responsive and kind. We enjoyed this home very much. As there wasn't a can opener (atleast we couldn't find one) we left one for future guests :). Our group loved this home and would love to stay again in the future.

Great location!!!

My husband, teenager daughter, and our dog enjoyed a few days away from reality in this beautifully decorated home. Just a short walk to the ocean. The home was very clean!! The owner was always quick to respond to our questions. The outdoor shower was great to rinse the sand off our feet and an absolute necessity for our dog. Can’t wait to visit again!!!
