If you are an Agatha Christie fan, you will have heard of, or may recognise, the iconic Burgh Island from one of her novels. You can access the island and Pilchard Inn via the stretch of sand that links them to the mainland. Walk the stretch at shallow waters or use the sea tractor at high tide, it is an experience in itself! Venus Cafe, located in the beach car park, can provide delicious food and drink for your adventures.

Bigbury-on-Sea Beach offers an array of water sports to try including surfing and SUP. Check out Discovery Surf School to book a lesson or rent equipment. Or head across to Bantham Beach to try kite surfing.

Bigbury Golf Club is located just up the road, providing the opportunity to play on one of the most idyllic of coastal courses overlooking stunning ocean views. Note:
Stargazy is a single-story beach house, accessed by way of a set of steps to the side of the building. This house is not suitable for anyone who struggles with steps, pre-school children must be supervised at all times.
