Bill was very helpful. Tv was not working. House was not cleaned when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay in the aged property. Access to lake was nice enjoyed having coffee and looking at the lake.

Triplets 69th Birthday

The home reminded us of our Grandparents home. Well furnished. I bought coffee filters because the last two rentals we stayed in did not provide them. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had dishes, cooking utensils, spices. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well furnished. We grilled burgers and hotdogs outside.We baked our cup cakes and prepared all other meals in the oven and stove like we did when we were young. We played card games, domimos. We took 2 of our boats and kept them at the fishing dock. We all loved boat rides, fishing, sight seeing. We took guitars. Sang country and gospel songs with family. Best lake trip we have ever had.

A soft place to land

It’s not your typical bnb it’s more. With the hustle of life it’s sometimes hard to just sit and enjoy the scenery- this place gives you the good old days impression. Simple conveniences with the nostalgic feeling of visiting grandma’s house. It’s exactly what I didn't know I needed. The cove area is a quiet neighborhood, plenty of wildlife to view. The trees are a beautiful to sit under. With lake life comes insects yet it was not a problem. This place deserves those who enjoy the quiet life and solid. If you stay be kind to it as it has hosted generations of good memories and still has more to give. I actually loved being here. Bill & Patty are the kind of people you wished there were more of. Planning to come visit again for sure.

Cozy, relaxing getaway on the lake!

Super cute, comfy lakehouse with plenty of room for the 5 of us to relax and enjoy our long weekend. We loved the large windows with great views of the water from the living room and master bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed floating in the water off the dock and watching all the wildlife in the shaded backyard. It was quick, easy access to run into town and spent a few hours at the slab close by. We had a great time!

Relaxing stay at Lake LBJ!

Owner is so nice and wonderful to work with. The location and house was perfect. Huge picture windows allow for all day views. Enjoyed having coffee in the morning and watching the water. We perched fished all day right in the backyard. Very relaxing retreat. Thank you Bill Carico!

Best stay EVER!

The property was amazing, so many great things to do around town and a nice quiet home to go back to. Absolutely beautiful view of the lake, and the lake house was so beautifully decorated. Don’t even get me started on the beds, they were so comfy! The property managers were very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Can’t wait for next time!

Great property with lots of history! It is in a quiet neighborhood. The dock was very convenient. The hosts were so nice and accomodating. The AC worked great! We were able to cook at the house and were close to some great restaurants. We had a great stay!

Charming house on the lake

House is very clean and cute on a perfect corner of the cove. Kids played in the water from dawn to dusk and grownups enjoyed staying cool in this comfortable home. Bill is an outstanding host — quickly and kindly answered any questions we had.

Great House

This was our annual Girls Trip and the house is just as described , but even better! The house had three beautiful bathrooms, perfect sleeping accommodations for seven women and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. It’s very spacious and tons of personality! Having the AC plus window units was an added bonus for us seven women! The location was perfect! It’s on a quiet cove with lots of bird watching! It doesn’t have any “water toys” on site but they’re available if you want to rent them from local retailers. . It could use some loving updates on the outside amenities but all in all it was an absolutely amazing place for our Girls Getaway! We loved it!

Great, homey lake house on a quiet cove!

We loved our stay and would definitely come back! It’s a perfect location on a quiet cove with lots of back yard shade. Easy access to the less busy north end Lake LBJ and good coves for swimming as well as the sand bar in the lake. The interior of the home felt like a warm inviting home with lots of character and you could tell that the family takes good care of it. Two things to be cautious of though if bringing a boat: there is a tree right by the dock with some sort of massive bird in it that loves to poop on your boat while it’s docked so I’d bring your boat cover. Also there’s a small boat ramp at the end of the road but I’d only launch there if you have a smaller boat or jet ski trailer. The concrete on the ramp doesn’t go out that far into the water and I accidentally dropped my pontoon boat trailer tires off of the end of the concrete. No big deal as we managed to get it back up fairly quickly using the help of some neighbors but just something to be aware of.

Relaxing, beautiful and so much fun!

We were very impressed, everything is as shown in photos, way more space than we needed so everyone was comfortable! Kids had a blast swimming, fishing and running around the huge back yard! Boat launch is close, dock in back yard for fishing comfortably all night, we will definitely stay again! The owner was just a text away to answer all of our questions and was very pleasant!

Exactly as described

We visited over spring break, with a total of 11 people with a wide range of ages.. the kitchen has everything you would need to cook for a large family.. the beds were very comfy. House very clean. Only issue we had was with the light on the dock and that was fixed very quickly. The owner of the property is very easy to communicate with. Answered all my questions and very kind.

Great week long getaway

The property was well maintained and close to so many things. The house is right on the lake with a sturdy dock. Plenty of restaurants and parks in the area. We weren’t able to explore all the area had to offer in just a week! The property manager was quick to respond and very helpful. Overall great week stay!!!

Unclean accommodations

No working smoke alarms. Not clean. Dead roaches throughout, spider webs, dirty floors. Foul smelling, cloudy water from all faucets. Required flushing for hours before smell dissipated. Patio furniture had to be cleaned of spider webs before it could be used. Musty bath towels. I was embarrassed to have brought extended family here for Labor Day. The owners were very nice & responded quickly to my messages but are managing property from out of state.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a blast here for Fathers Day weekend! Bill was quick to respond, and made sure we had what we needed for a successful stay. The kids loved jumping off the dock and floating in the water, and we rented a pontoon boat for the day from a local company which was dropped off and picked up right at the dock (so fun!) We would definitely rent here again!

Family vacation!!

After a booking error at previous venue I felt so fortunate to find this place!! It was a hit with everyone! Having a great backyard and lakefront access was fabulous!! We rented a pontoon boat which was delivered right to the property!! The house was well equipped, ac was great! 3 bathrooms were great!! Neighbors were outstanding and even had a firework show Saturday night which we all enjoyed!! The owner was gracious enough to accommodate my daughters dogs. If you are expecting a luxurious Lakehouse, this may not be the place for you, but it was clean and comfortable accommodations!
