Adequate

We appreciated the management job done by Kauai vacation rentals. The on-site property manager was unfriendly and unresponsive but when we were unable to reach him, the Kauai vacation rentals person handled it immediately and efficiently. This property is fine, but the furniture is uncomfortable and poorly arranged. The TV is mounted on the same wall as the bed headboard so you can’t see the TV from the bed. There are two rattan chairs where you can sit and see the TV but they are extremely uncomfortable. Well, we were not here to watch TV, it was nice to catch up on news when we were getting ready for our next activity so this was something that affected our ability to enjoy the property. Addressing this would make the unit much more comfortable.

Amazingly Beautiful - Kauai Prince Kuhio

Overall an amazing place to stay, with beautiful beaches and easy access. It was wonderful sitting out on my patio enjoying the views of Prince Kuhio grounds; just full of lush tropical plants and trees. The condo was the perect size for one or two people, with a full sized kitchen (fully equipped), comfortable chairs and dining set. And after long days of excercise and fun, I very much enjoyed the comfortable king bed and pillows! I would definitely recommend Prince Kuhio!

Comfortable

Cute little bungalow stocked with most things you need. 2 beach chairs and umbrella, beach cooler. Comfy bed. Small lanai, pool view. Ceiling fan and a/c. 2 stories to walk up, no elevator. Nice pool, no spa and no restrooms by the pool. Need key to get in AND out of the pool area. Sunsets across the road are breathtaking. Overall, great deal.

Perfect Getaway

This property was perfect for the two of us. It was a quiet little community that was beautifully maintained. The location was great for easy access all along the south shore. The actual unit was well-stocked and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, it was friendly for our budget! We have stayed at a different place nearby before that we loved and were worried this wouldn't live up, but it was excellent and we saved a lot of money! Definitely check this place out on your visit!

Stay at Kuhio

The Kuhio Studio property is lovely. Right by the water, clean, nice pool, easy parking, gardens everywhere, and easy access to Poipu beach (about a 5 min drive). Communication was also great - overall the place was as advertised and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Poipu area. Just be mindful that if you want to spend time in the North, it is quite a drive as there is only 1 highway with mostly 1 lane and there can be quite a bit of traffic. Takes approximately 1h30m to drive from property to Hanalei.

Family Vacation 2022

Garden and pool view 3rd floor unit. Suite had everything we needed. Showing some wear and tear but overall great unit. Property management company was very available and communicative. Would recommend this unit to family and friends.

Great location

Close to everything we wanted to do. Convenient and plentiful parking. If you have a lot of luggage you may want to go for a ground floor unit because there are no elevators. Enjoyed our 3rd floor views however. Quaint place and would stay again!

A good choice near Poipu

Beautiful location. Check in was easy. Nice complex. We loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Close to some beaches, a short walk to local stores, or a long walk to the main Poipu area. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Property was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items and beach supplies. The grounds and pool area were relaxing. Just be warned that the morning noise starts early with birds singing, the ubiquitous roosters and residents recycling their glass bottles before the sun rises.

Bike Racks

We rented bikes for the week we were here. Everything is so close you don't need a car. But this place did not have an exterior bike rack or a place to park and lock our bikes. In fact was actually FORBIDDEN in the rental paperwork to store bikes. WHAT? The water is rising at the beaches and the state is freaking out. If small actions (like putting in bike parking) can't be done, what hope does that island have.

Paradise at Poipu

We loved our visit to Prince Kuhio at Poipu. The property is charming, the pool lovely and inviting (and deep enough at one end to jump into), the grounds meticulously maintained. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We will be back!

I love Prince Kuhio

This unit is all it says it is. It is across from a beach with good snorkeling and a wonderful restaurant. My son got married at the restaurant and the food was the best I have ever had!!! It is comfortable and clean. The pool is lovely and surrounded by lovely vegetation. I would move there permanently if I could. I will say the decor is very 70s. The walls are a dark yellow and the couch and bedding are dark autumn tones. The bathroom has the usual - it's not a spa-type accommodation.
