Relaxing, quaint studio in the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla. Quiet and serene with private entrance and balcony overlooking a small fish pond.

A 10 minute walk to Calumet Park with an overlook of the Pacific Ocean. Coffee shops, a bakery, yoga and restaurants all close by. A King sized pullout couch with memory foam topper sleeps 2 adults comfortably. A Twin sized mattress also available.

Cycle friendly with complementary beach cruisers to explore the Pacific Beach boardwalk, or cycle the Bird Rock path into La Jolla Village. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys are available.

Kitchenette (see amenities listed), shower, and balcony.

The stay at the cottage by the sea was 5/5 due to the incredible hosts and to be within the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla for this price point. If you’re looking to enjoy a relaxing side of La Jolla with quick access to the rest of San Diego, you’ll want to stay here. It’s cozy, above a garage, and while not a 5 star hotel, it was a 5 star experience. Will certainly stay here again next time we’re in San Diego!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage for five days. It was clean, comfortable and fit our needs. The location was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to see. We loved walking down the street to get coffee and walk down to look at the gorgeous ocean. Mark and Marty were warm, responsive and made everything easy from start to finish.
