This is my third stay at Le Grand Monarch. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For the moment I think the fifth floor has the best rooms.

Decent hotel for a fair price

The landscaping has been let go and its location is somewhat isolated - one restaurant within walking distance and that's it. However, my room was pretty big for a European hotel. Everything was clean and functional, but certainly not new or top of the line. Breakfast was reasonably priced and very good. The staff were extremely helpful.

Comfortable and convenient hotel. It looks big but is really quite small. The grounds are in need of a gardener but the oak forest in front of the hotel shield it from a very busy road. There is a Buffalo Grill opposite but there is no pedestrian exit so a little difficult in my opinion. The hotel is very close to Vaux le Vicomte and Fontainebleau if like us you like visiting chateaux.

À mon arrivée, personne très accueillante. Puis une nuit sur un matelas qui ne devrait plus être utilisé … difficile de dormir engoncé. Le lendemain, petit dej’ de 10 à 12€, sans jus d’orange, la viennoiserie correcte mais le café filtre est digne d’un hôtel bas de gamme … plus jamais pour moi.
