Do not recommend

Staff was often not in the office.. Rickety stairs. Room was not clean - lots of house spiders and stained comforter. Door did not have a deadbolt - only lock was the main lock which kept clicking as people went by. Bathroom was dirty with stains on wall and floor. Breakfast area was dirty with burning waffle pieces in the iron. We slept little and couldn’t wait to leave.

Our king size room view of the lake was spacoius and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. After we checked on we made ourselves coffee downstairs amd sat on the front deck with patio tables and chairs. Only stayed one night like alot of people. Very close to Bank of Pavillion.

Terrible!

This was terrible. Small and airless. We took a winding, narrow path to our room. The bed was about 4 ft smaller than the room, the bathroom was tiny and the door stuck. We did not stay there. They were not supposed to charge us but I believe they have anyway. Wouldn't recommend.

Continental breakfast was a dirty waffle maker, 2 open bowls of cereal and 3 juice pouches. Coolers were empty, no pastries, no fruit, no juices and the area was extremely dirty. The hotel advertised free bottled water but actually it was a water cooler.

Checking in with the man at the desk was a struggle because we couldn’t understand him. Asked about places to eat and he replied that he cooks his own Indian food. So he couldn’t tell us a good place to eat. The room was clean and the bed and bedding were good. Breakfast was K cup coffee and his fruit was in poor condition. Did not eat there.

If you just need a bed to sleep in this is a decent spot. The breakfast bar had a broken waffle maker, overflowing trash, and no spoons. There was work going on outside, so the attendant wasn't always there, so it might have just been an off weekend. But the bed was clean and the price was decent.

DONT STAY HERE

The outside porches had mold. Room is absolutely horrendous , stains and dirt everywhere. Looks like they just refolded the bed and towels. Everything had stains and was dirty. There was hair on the pillows. No shower curtain so water got everywhere bathmat was also dirty with big black stain. Rooms are not well maintained or kept up with . We felt obligated to use our own sheets and blankets. Outlets dont all work and are so loose. I had to tape my charger to stay in the wall. I would never stay here again even if I was desperate . While they are affordable, I do feel that cleanliness and basic appearance is the bare minimum regardless of the price. Also, when we asked for new pillowcases, they did not provide any and when we woke up in the morning, we found that each dirty moldy chair had “new sheets waiting” outside all the rooms.

The location of the inn is absolutely gorgeous right across from the lake. Besides that, the room was not super clean and we had an issue with spiders in our room. The front door didn’t lock correctly. We stayed for 2 days and no one ever came to give us fresh towels or check in to clean. It wasn’t completely terrible but I doubt I’d stay there again with so many other options close by.

Tired rooms

Their linen service had stains on one pillowcase and stains on the bedspread. No shower curtain, so we didn’t bother since it was just one night. The staff was great and accommodating it these rooms are tired. It was a big room with plenty of space and the bed was surprisingly better than expected after everything else we saw.
