Our stay was marred by significant discrepancies between the listing and reality. The property was advertised as a 4-bedroom home sleeping 10; however, the "4th bedroom" was an office with glass doors and an uncomfortable futon. Our family had to purchase an air mattress just to accommodate everyone.Key Facilities & Amenities: Bathrooms: Though listed with 3 full baths, we arrived to a handwritten note stating the upstairs shower was broken. No prior warning was given. Privacy/Safety: King suite bath and guest bedrooms lacked blinds/window coverings. The laundry circuit breaker tripped repeatedly, and a fire alarm was left sitting on a counter rather than being installed on the ceiling. Essentials: Lacked basic linens for bedding, bath, and kitchen. The kitchen was sparsely equipped and lacked basic cookware/utensils. Sanitation: The property had an ant infestation, forcing us to toss food. Management provided Raid on day five, which was unsafe for the children and pets in our group. The master bedding smelled of dogs, no beds had top sheets, and spider webs were visible in several rooms. While the local contact was very helpful with small needs, she couldn't fix the fundamental misrepresentation of this home. We spent our first night making seven calls/texts just to secure basic towels and sheets. We did enjoy our stay once we got used to things and had supplies available, but the first few days were rough. It does have a beautiful view and is quiet.
