Great house with a beautiful view. This is our second time renting this home. Last time I called Karen to request a real BBQ pit (vs. a park style one) be provided. Karen was gracious in responding to our request, but apparently the grill didn’t remain after we left. Definitely would’ve rated a 5 if a grill was provided…we felt that to not have one was inappropriate for a house of this size/expense.

Good Property

Overall the property was the right size for our group. We had about 21 people in the group and we had a comfortable stay. Only concern was with the Hot Water as some of the people in the group had to bathe with cold water since the water was not heating fast enough for the group.

Perfect Place for perfect memories

Let us begin by Thanking Karen for providing the Christmas tree, it was unexpected and such a sweet surprise. We planned our friend/ family gathering of 29 to simply get together for the holiday. The house met the needs of EVERYONE! The Floorplan, the table settings and cook ware were all accommodating for such a large group. The only thing we ran out of was time! Such a beautiful home and comfortable place to be!

Great Size, Pretty View, December Stay

We stayed at this location in early December. We had a group of 20. This house was a great size. We had plenty of room and living space to spread out. The bedrooms were big. Everything was very clean. We had a decent view of the Lake from the big front windows. Two negatives (which didn’t have ANYTHING to do with the house) were: 1. There is a Dollar General close by but not a lot else. The one pizza place we were gonna order from wasn’t open during the evening. That was a bummer. 2. It was a lot further from Branson than we realized. The roads to get there are decently curvy and two lane. I’m glad we didn’t have any poor weather because it would have made for a rough drive.

Great Home

We plan an annual trip with friends every year, and until now, we go to a new place each year. Going forward, I can almost guarantee that we will return here again. Our stay was amazing. Great home, welcoming and attentive host, beautiful area. We loved our stay, and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful setup

so impressed how clean the house was. It had all the amenities you would need. Kitchen has all the gadgets, silverwar, pots, pans, etc. The coffee maker was unusually flexible. It can be set to use your Keurig pods or it can do drip grind a 12 cup decanter with regular coffee. Karen is very responsive to issues that may come up. We had two minor ones that she resolved right away. The setting is great. You can literally walk to Baxter marina in 4 minutes where you can rent pontoon boats. By the way, they are great people at Baxter too! We had a great 4 night stay with 16 of us from 8 to 71 years of age.

Deer Ridge Lodge June 2022

Overall, we all enjoyed our stay. Most everything that we needed was provided. Disappointed that there wasnt more yard available for kids to play games. We were reasonably close to most activities we chose to do. Swimming pool was perfect for the kids. Would of liked some hooks in each bathroom for towels. Appliances all worked great and fridge and freezer storage very adequate for our family. A great place to stay with plenty of space to spread out for our family.

Thanksgiving Getaway

My family had a great time. We even enjoyed our neighbors, and the children played a bit of football together. The Internet wasn't the greatest, and we weren't able to watch television on the many TVs, but aside from missing the football games, that was OK. I missed that this was a community of several duplicate rentals. Perhaps a property map would be useful for the renters to select from the available options. In any case, we enjoyed being able to gather in one property with plenty of beds. We also enjoyed going hiking and visiting the sites in nearby Branson. Two washing machines and kitchens were very convenient as well.
