Escape to this enchanting cabin with your beloved family pet in tow for an unforgettable break. This wonderful holiday escape sits on a farm in South Scotland, boasting an on-site dog agility training school so as you can imagine, your four-pawed friends are very welcome here! It’s just right for a couple or a small family looking for the chance to get away from it all in a peaceful setting. On trips out you can explore Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders, with activities such as cycling, trout fishing and horse riding to enjoy. Go walking in the forested landscape that surrounds the site or join the owners on a farm tour to meet sheep, goats and alpacas. Biggar (5.5 miles) is the closest market town where you can pick up a range of goodies or eat out, while the bustling city of Edinburgh is within 30 miles.
Settle into the lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen area boasting a selection of amenities so you can enjoy evenings cooking when you aren’t dining out. Eat at the pretty table or cosy up on the comfortable seating to watch a film on the Smart TV or just relax and enjoy views over the serene countryside from this retreat. A charming family bedroom hosts a king-size bed and separate bunkbeds creating a perfect family set up. Freshen up each morning in the lovely wet room before heading out for the day. Thoughtfully designed for guests with pets, there are even special cushioned, non-slip floors installed so you and your pup can feel right at home.
Outside, there’s an enclosed space where your canine companion can enjoy pottering about each morning, with artificial grass and your very own private hot tub – unwind amongst the bubbles with rural scenes all around. With a large, unfenced pond to overlook, an indoor BBQ hut available to hire, and a lovely, grassed area surrounding the farm’s six cabins, you’ll feel wonderfully relaxed taking in all the delights this site has to offer. There is also an off-lead exercise field for dogs.
