The bathrooms weren’t cleaned adequately, and the previous guest even left their shoes and a canned beer under the table. For a 150 cleaning fee, that’s honestly pretty frustrating—especially since we were still expected to clean up ourselves. The home itself is beautiful, but it definitely could have been cleaner overall. Communication with the host was quick and responsive, which I appreciated, but the cleaning fee still felt unreasonable given the condition and expectations.
