Cozy Brick house - 3 BR, 2 1/2 Bath, fenced in back yard with privacy fence.

Very nice, brick home, built in 1940 in Latonia/Covington. Lots of natural lighting, fenced in back yard, privacy fence, on a quiet, dead end street, walking distance to several cafe’s, churches, and a 2 min drive from golf course. Fully furnished, laundry facilities , on street parking. Back patio has a table, chairs, umbrella and a gas grill. Heavily wooded area, near a river, some wild life. A 15 min drive to Reds and Bengals stadiums, Hard Rock Casino, Riverdowns, Turfway Park, Riverbend Music Center, Belterra, Newport on the Levee, Mainstrasse Village. The Ark Encounter is about a 40 min drive, and the Creation Museum is a 25 min drive. Kings Island takes 45 minutes.

Talon säännöt

No parties allowed, quiet hours are 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday , 10:00 pm Sunday thru Thurs. Addtional guest fee after 2 people. Dogs are allowed.
Before leaving please strip the bed sheets, place those along with used towels/wash cloths in laundry basket in front bedroom closet in basket.
There are two containers in the kitchen closet. One for recycling and big one for garbage . Please put bags of garbage in container outside back door.

We had a wonderful stay. Emily was the perfect host, reached out proactively, and made our stay perfect. We had our Australian Shepherd with us and she had an awesome time also. We stayed in the are in order to head to the Bengals game, it allowed us to stay in a reasonable price range in a gorgeous home.

Emily came out and met us when we arrived even though it was 9:30pm. She tried to help fix the internet issues (at both her house and ours). We appreciated the high sinks in the bathrooms as we're both tall people. Loved having a gas stove (ours at home is electric). Also loved the comfortable dining room chairs; the living room was nice and cozy, and the mattresses were comfortable. I especially enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the mornings and seeing numerous cats!
My purse matched the chair! :)

Most pictures for VRBO look better than the reality. For this property the pictures do not do it justice. This property is perfect in every way. Location, comfort, price. Doesn't get any better than this one. You will not be disappointed.

We had such a lovely stay! The house is older and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, even going out of their way when something was left behind. The location worked out perfectly—it was close to everything we wanted to do and made a great halfway meeting spot for our family.One of our favorite parts was saying hello to the sweet dogs and enjoying the birds and other wildlife around the house. It really made the stay feel extra special. We’d happily come back again!

Great Stay!

House is a beautifully updated 100 year old house with the old house feel. Everything is immaculate and the hosts are super helpful and friendly. If we ever visit the area again, it will be the first place we check on for our stay.

Peaceful home base to explore a new city

After heading out each day to explore Covington and Cincinnati, we loved having Latonia as our "home base" to come back to. The local shop owners in this developing area could not have been nicer. Staying in a handsomely appointed house with some history is much more appealing than an impersonal hotel chain. Plus, it afforded us the opportunity to bring our fur babies with us! The bare wood stairs did pose a challenge for our senior dog, but everything else worked out fine. We will be back!

Quick Getaway

The house was perfect for a quick getaway. The backyard was perfect for our dog. The house was in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. The house was well stocked and clean. If we are ever in need of a rental in the area again, we would definitely return.

UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING

I don’t have the words (nor will this site let to write a five page review) about how ABSOLUTELY wonderful this property AND the owners are. We really liked the photos, but they really do no justice to this beautiful home. It was immaculately clean….like hospital clean…like “Ritz” clean!!! I was skeptical about the owners living next door. WRONG!!! Super nice and genuinely helpful. From the BEAUTIFUL remodel of an amazing historical home, to the adorable little backyard yard all nicely fenced in with super cool solar lighting, this is clearly spectacular!!! It’s tightly tucked into an iconic type, old school city neighborhood. But it’s a wonderful neighborhood and very quiet and it’s definitely private. We live in farmland with NO neighbors. We were all completely shocked at how private and quiet it is!!! The attention to details from the beautiful refinished wood work, decorating, lighting, super tall ceilings, pocket doors, fully stocked kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms is outstanding. We only stay in VRBOs. This by far exceeds all. We were in to host our daughter’s baby shower in Southgate. We easily zipped around from her house to Costco to the liquor store (because I forgot to get wine at Costco and they had closed by the time we realized my egregious mistake) This beautiful home was all remodeled by the owners…3 years!!! If you are looking at this property and especially if you are reading this review….do not look any further. BOOK IT. BOOK IT NOW!!!

Lovingly restored old home

Came for a concert at Riverbend. Stayed 2 nights. Location was easy and close by. Parking is on street and a little close. Emily has done an awesome job of thoughtfully providing everything and anything you could need for your stay. The kitchen was especially well equipped. Although there is still a little work being done, the home is beautifully restored, comfortable, and furnished with antique flair. All bedrooms are upstairs and also nicely stocked. The only drawback is that the staircase is a bit close and steep (as older houses are) and could use some brighter lighting. We really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Host, Great Property

Emily is a great host and an excellent communicator. The house has a nice vibe and doesn't feel like a corporate flip to rental. There is a nice backyard to enjoy the day or evening in and The beds are VERY comfortable.
