The room was very comfortable. The front desk staff could speak enough English to make us feel welcome and to understand the breakfast information. The Food Court is huge and clean and pretty. The food is great.

Prepare to not sleep

Not suitable for families with young children. The food court and bar downstairs booms ridiculously loud music all the way through the evening till 2am every night! The rooms are not “soundproof” u can hear and feel the bass for hours on end and our kids couldn’t sleep. A hotel that doesn’t give you a good nights sleep cant be rated well im afraid.

This was the best hotel we stayed at. It looked amazing. Staff was friendly. The concept for food was second to none. My kids enjoyed the bedroom experience because of the bunkbeds and the location was absolutely stunning. I would definitely go back and I would highly recommend.

We had a mixed experience at the Jost Hotel Le Havre. Our family room was clean and comfortable and our two children were delighted with their bunk beds in the wall! We ate in the food court and all really enjoyed the food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The big negative for us was the music playing loudly until 2am which we could hear very clearly in our room, even though we were on the third floor! This didn’t make for a good nights sleep. We spoke to the receptionist about it and he pretty much shrugged his shoulders and said they needed to improve their noise insulation! So although some bits of our stay were good, we wouldn’t stay again. For us the noise was a real problem.

Séjour gùché par le bruit en soirée

Nous avons passĂ© 1 nuit, rĂ©servĂ©e le jour mĂȘme, pour une Ă©tape sur notre trajet retour des vacances. Nous avions besoin de repos et malheureusement impossible de dormir jusqu'Ă  1h voire plus tant le niveau sonore de la fĂȘte qui battait son plein en dessous Ă©tait gĂȘnant. Je ne suis peut-ĂȘtre pas le clientĂšle cible de cet Ă©tablissement qui fait aussi auberge de jeunesse, mais c'est bien une chambre familiale que j'ai rĂ©servĂ©e. L'association de l'activitĂ© bar/musique et de la partie hĂŽtel n'est pour moi pas judicieuse et quel dommage, car Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de ça, la chambre Ă©tait bien dĂ©corĂ©e et propre, la literie confortable, le personnel sympa, bref rien Ă  redire. Nous avons mĂȘme dinĂ© au restaurant du rez-de-chaussĂ©e (qui fonctionne avec le bar et l'hotel), nous y avons bien mangĂ© et pour un tarif trĂšs raisonnable, j'ai trouvĂ© ça trĂšs pratique. Mais tout a Ă©tĂ© gĂąchĂ© par la musique et le brouhaha jusqu'Ă  tard dans la nuit... Je prĂ©cise que c'Ă©tait un vendredi soir, ces animations n'ont peut-ĂȘtre pas lieu tous les jours de la semaine. Le lendemain matin, on ne m'a pas demandĂ© si tout s'Ă©tait bien passĂ©, la rĂ©ponse est non.
