Merry Cabin - Peacefully Poised in the Woods

Welcome to "Merry Cabin" which is fittingly located on Merry Canyon Road. This adorable cabin is nestled on 3 private acres, just about 10 minutes out of downtown Leavenworth, towards Plain.

Offering a private, charming, and memorable atmosphere, the cabin will sleep 4 guests very comfortably, and is also perfect for that romantic and exclusive "couples getaway."

After a fun-filled day of adventure, come home and take a soak in the private hot tub and afterward, you can cozy up on the couch and watch the electric fireplace flames emanate throughout the room. The charm of the true log interior, coupled with modern rustic decor creates a warm and welcoming environment to relax and forget all about the day-to-day routines.

On the main level, you will find a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a claw-foot tub/shower combo, a rustic yet fully equipped kitchen area including a microwave (no dishwasher here), and a cozy living area. If you head up the stairs you will see a king bed in the loft area.

Merry Cabin is secluded amongst the pines in a beautiful mountainside setting. You are welcome to bring your beloved dog, as this home is Fido-friendly with lots of room for your fur baby to run around and enjoy some fresh mountain air. What are you waiting for?

This home is located 11.3 miles from downtown Leavenworth.

Please Note:

1 dog maximum allowed, but no cats, please.

There are no security cameras in use at this home. There is an old camera system on the shed facing away from the house toward the driveway and it is disabled and non-functional.

The stairs leading to the loft bedroom are STEEP. Please consider this before booking and especially if you are planning on bringing children. This home is not childproof or kid-friendly.

There is a temporary AC unit in place during the summer months.

During summer, there is a burn ban that goes into effect for all of Chelan County when there is a high fire danger.  During the ban, it could be that no campfires, use of charcoal briquettes, or any other form of burning is allowed.

***Winter Guests***

While we do our very best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded at all times, winter conditions can change rapidly and make access both to and from challenging.

***We can`t stress this enough***

This driveway has a significant slope. When snow and ice are on the ground, 4WD/AWD vehicles, with good traction tires are necessary. Chains are recommended for all and a must for 2WD vehicles.

Please consider this when booking From November through April.

Please be prepared and plan accordingly.

If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.

This cozy cabin was perfect for a winter wonderland getaway! It is fully stocked for cooking, has throws, dog bowls, labels for all of the lights, and plenty of heaters to combat the snow. The heated mat near the door to the hot tub made that super easy to access even in the cold. I really appreciate all of these little details because it helped make our weekend great. Getting in and out was no problem for my AWD car. Thanks again!

A cute little cabin for a quiet getaway. Came here during the 4th of July to get away from the fireworks for my puppers and it was QUIET here! It was amazing only hearing the sounds of the birds and cars passing by along dirt road. Great stay overall. Just wish there were more options for cooking pans and that the microwave wasn’t placed on top of tall fridge for use (hard to reach). And when we took showers, the pipe was leaking/dripping water that was outside tub, so we had to clean up all the water that dripped on floor the first time we saw it then put a bowl underneath leaking pipe. Contacted cabin owner about it right away. They never came to fix it while we were staying there a few more days, so we had to empty out bowl of water every time someone took a shower. Other than that, was a wonderful stay. The chairs outside with fireplace and covered roof was pleasant to sit at, relax, drink coffee and listen to nature. And major plus on having BBQ available to use outside too. We also used the hot tub which felt great. Side note, it did have damage/holes to hot tub siding from previous guests. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet getaway close to Leavenworth village (15-20 minute drive), this is the place to go.

Great little cabin

This house was exactly as described. The perfect little cozy cabin tucked away just outside Leavenworth. It was clean, stocked, and well kept. The property management team was very responsive when needed.

Adorable, comfy cabin stay

We really enjoyed our time at this cute little cabin. It was the perfect size for my friend and I. The beds were very comfortable, great hot tub, and fire pit. It is not too far out of town and was easy to find. The only odd little note, were the rocks in the sink and tub, but I am sure they serve a purpose. We would definitely book again!

Cozy

My girlfriend and I stayed at this wonderful cabin over Christmas and couldn't have had a better stay. The attention to detail was impressive, the place was spotless (unbelievably clean), and we had everything we needed and more. The location was largely rural, exactly what I was hoping my experience to be. It snowed nearly every day during our stay, which made it even more magical. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. Thank you for a delightful stay.

Quintessential Log Cabin Winter Escape

We enjoyed a week long stay here in late November. The cabin was perfectly cozy, location close to Leavenworth, and the hot tub was a treat. We even saw a group of wild turkeys walking around out the kitchen window :) We also utilized the firepit on the deck with the provided propane tanks. The furniture layout of the cabin was different than the listing. It is mentioned in the description already but be aware the cabin is not childproof. It was fine for us and our baby who isn't crawling around yet.

Great little cabin

This was a great little getaway for us from Seattle. The cabin was so cute and they offered so many adorable touches “ towels for the hot tub”, dog beds/bowls/toys for pups, slippers for guests, ice scraper for your vehicles! Felt very private! It was lovely. My only comments would be that the upstairs bed takes some getting used to but overall it’s comfortable, the stairs are definitely not kid friendly but we were able to work around that, and lastly I would love a new shower curtain in there. It’s just gotten really dingy! But we loved our stay! Thank you!

Inaccurate description

Although this property was clean and cute, let me start off by saying the location on ad said 25-30 miles from Leavenworth, but it failed to mention it was up a secluded gravel road. Upon arriving the cabin had a foul/musty odor. Ad said there were 2 portable A/C units, and thought that would be ok during this excessive heat warning, but instead turned out they weren’t portable A/C units but fans. The upstairs was even hotter of course being that heat rises to the top. We ended up staying one night versus the two nights we paid for.

A hidden haven

It was the perfect getaway for just the two of us on my birthday weekend. So charming and so cozy we loved and adored the ambience. The bed was incredibly comfortable and being able to relax in the hot tub was a bonus. It was so sad to leave but hopefully we can visit again sometime.

Wow...unbelievable log cabin in as private a setting as you could ask for! Clean as it gets with well maintained hot tub, Disc golf net, great fire pit area, incredible front covered deck around gas fire pit (although seems the dial broken so woildnt stay lit), inside is so well decorated and has everything you need and more. Upstairs bedroom is great with windows on either end of the sloped roof room and such a comfortable bed!! Not far from Leavenworth either. I cannot say enough about how great they have made this and how much we loved the stay

Quaint/merry cabin

Quaint cabin tucked into the forest about 20 minutes from Leavenworth when the roads are good. Can comfortably sleep 2 couples. The propane firepit and hottub are so nice to have on snowed in nights. They have lots of dvd and games too. The kitchen is small but has everything you could need, we cooked multiple breakfasts and dinners while we stayed. Check in was easy. This truly was a cabin with gorgeous wood and there are lots of heaters and fireplaces so the only way you’ll get cold is if you are playing in the snow! Beds are super comfy, great water pressure too! Thanks for a great stay!
