In a centuries-old olive grove, amongst the silvery green foliage of the olive trees, we constructed with respect to the environment, a country house where visitors can feel and experience nature. Opening its doors for the first time June 2022, ideal for families and pet lovers, the rejuvenating atmosphere of this beautiful country house will win you over from the moment you enter to Villa Asprolià’s premises. In a lovely area which offers privacy and calmness, the wide land surrounding the house, will allow you to relax and the small fun details will make you not want to leave. The villa was named after the local olive tree variety cultivated since 1684, that is producing a smooth flavor olive oil. The whole area is full of aged olive trees that dress the green fields with a Mediterranean veil.

#OUTSIDE
Arriving from the side of the villa, you leave the car in the comfortable parking space and already look at the green spacious yard, the lovely salt water swimming pool (4x8m size, 0.90m-1.60m depth) and the large coal BBQ plus the stone built wood oven. The olive trees have been ingeniously integrated in the design of the outside area and generously cast their refreshing shadow. A little further, a small vegetable garden will give you its fresh daily products. On the side of the large BBQ area, a large chess arena with big size chess pieces, created with square blocks and growing grass, will engage you to a match while you wait for the grill to cook your goods. In the shadow of the house, a handmade extra large wooden table, will host your dinners and lunches with comfort, embraced by the sound of cicadas. The wide grass field is the ideal playground for children and pets. Let them play freely, run around and enjoy the space, while you relax at the comfortable sunbeds.

#INSIDE
As you enter the villa, on the ground floor you are found in the comfortable living room, decorated with small handmade vintage ornaments, with a sofa that can be turned into a single sofa bed. The romantic fabrics and light colors, warm the energy of the house, giving a cottage feel and a welcoming sensation. The open layout of the living room and the kitchen makes the room wider. The kitchen with the small traditional touches, combined with the full scale amenities, are offering all you need for an inspired cooking. The kitchen table will invite you to drink your coffee and have fun, while you gaze at the green garden. On this floor you also find a double bedroom, dressed in handmade embroideries and high quality linen, plus one bathroom with shower.

Through the wooden stairway with the wide windows for natural light, you visit the 1st floor. The floor has 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower. Traditional items and vintage tools are incorporated in the décor and the embroideries are displayed in a discrete and warm way.

#LOCATION
The house is situated in the east side of the island, between the old traditional villages of mountainous Katouna and seaside Lygia. Lefkada Town is just 5 minutes by car. The heart of Lygia, an authentic fishing village, is in 5 minutes drive, and besides its picturesque port lined with seafood taverns, you can also find bakeries, mini-markets, a pharmacy, and more. Only 2 minutes drive from the sea and 5 minutes drive from the pebble beach of Limni in Lygia, you can enjoy shallow waters ideal for children. The east coast in general is ideal for snorkeling, paddle-boarding and all the fun sports.

Kindly be advised that the owner of the villa has done all necessary proactive disinfestation, always in line to the environmental laws for the protection of the natural life. However the property is located within the beautiful natural surroundings and contact with insects or small animals (eg stray cats, mice, reptiles, flies, mosquitos, ants etc) cannot always be prevented.
