A 15 minute drive will take you to Nidri, with a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops. You can also arrange boat trips to the surrounding islands from here. Or, visit the harbourfront towns of Vasiliki and Sivota, both easily reached within 30 minutes’ by car.
