Only sofa beds for children to accomodate adults. I never mentioned children in my booking. Staff very very unhelpful and would do nothing to help . I asked for different rooms and he said the hotel was full. After 20 minutes he said he could give us another room to accommodate us but we would have to pay! So hotel not full at all!! Will never use this hotel again!

I realise that this was a city centre hotel but I think that the surroundings had deteriorated since photos were taken of the pedestrian street to the sude. There is now an extremely busy nightclub with customers to get any sleep until about 5amtalking and smoking immediately in front of the hotel.it was impossible to get any sleep until after 5 am. The staff were sympathetic but wouldn't let me move rooms until the 2nd night. It was still noisy but much better on the top floors.

Overall ok

Room was suitable for a one night stay. Decent price. Good location. Street was a little busy due to it being a Saturday and the window wouldnt shut filly so the noise was a bit annoying to sleep with. Also the room unexpectedly had a door to a connecting room and the people in that room started jiggling the door in the early hours of the morning. Gave me a heart attack.

Beds need binning!

Out dated decor in all areas except the foyer. Bathroom fan not working which congested the room leaving it steamy. The bed mattress springs were coming through the cheap mattress topper! When reception was notified they couldn’t swap our room as they were fully booked. They gave us a thin duvet to cover the mattress which didn’t work. Pull out bed springs tired and noisy, so called family room was tiny… my son slept in the main bed with my wife, I tried to sleep on the pull out bed but couldn’t! Horrendous stay made worse by the unapologetic staff and lack of a manager! I was told that there was No manager because it was a Sunday! They agreed to refund me and said that there was no manager to do it there and then, I reluctantly left my card details as they requested this. They party goers made such a racket up and down the high street until 3am! Cars screeching around every five minutes, never again!
