Visited for my daughter's wedding, so a very special occasion. Positives: near the area we wanted to be. Parked at the nearby multi-storey as on site parking is limited. Had booked a suite which was nice. Check in and out was smooth. Bed comfortable. Shower nice and hot and pressure was great! Breakfast was ok. Negatives: Two adults in a room need more than one bath towel! It would be nice to have more than two teabags in your room - sometimes you need more than one cuppa each! Shower drain was very blocked and shower flooded out the low level tray over bathroom floor. I wanted a soak in the beautiful in room tub - BUT we couldn't get the pop up plug to stay down - very disappointing when one of the rooms selling points is the bathtub. We passed info on to reception and the offered us a free upgrade next time - to be honest I would rather have had a small refund as we rarely travel to Leicester & stay in a hotel. Sadly it all felt a bit "budget" for a non-budget stay.

Amazing views from our terrace of the tiger’s stadium. Room nice but a little tired. Bathroom door had a dent in so looked shabby. Cigarette butts on terrace. Shower great. Missed the Leicester cheese biscuits that we used to get in room. Breakfast okay. Difficulty finding any staff to order from menu. No vegetarian sausages available. Cold scrambled eggs. A little disappointed to be honest. Overall a good stay but room for improvement.

Smart modern hotel, nice room layout. However, the whole experience of staying at this hotel has been tainted. Vacated the room in a hurry as was being hassled to do so, by housekeeping. I left my washbag in the bathroom, which contained a bottle of after shave. I arranged for a courier to collect the washbag, which the hotel had packaged up for me. Unfortunately, the after shave was missing when I opened the washbag at home - miraculously, the rest of its contents were all there. I contacted the hotel immediately and explained the situation. Management said they then carried out an investigation but could not find any fault with their procedures and refused my request for a reimbursement of the cost of the after shave (a mere £40) which had seemingly gone missing in their care. I have expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction to them. I shall not stay there again, nor in any other Voco hotel.

I called up ahead to book car park. Went to head office or another replace as they said I didn't need to do that. So I never had car park spot. I always book with breakfast. So on the website the breakfast was highlighted and in green. Get to hotel and told to pay extra for breakfast. I asked for a receipt and was told I would get this in the morning. The next morning I am told there is a queue of 100 print outs for a conference, so I will need it emailing. This wasn't emailed. I then call up again and am told that they cannot now send me an invoice for the breakfast. Wasn't a good stay at all.

Beautiful hotel.

The hotel is beautiful. The decor is right up our street, gorgeous. The food was lovely and the rooms were sooo comfy. Loved the shower and the big bed. I called to make sure i could park on site, and that was all easy enough to do. I paid for it when i arrived.
