Overall loved the hotel. Small things like not paper towels in the kitchenette, and no trash in the upstairs bedroom. We were in room 312. Morning coffee service was two small carafes, just couldn't keep up.

I love the funky vibe of the hotel- exposed brick, cool hallway lighting, nicely sized rooms, crisp white comfy beds. The hotel is very clean and modern and the area around it is very cute. The building is old and not very soundproof- we heard every step above us and a fight the couple next door had at 7am. Just a few things that would make it more comfortable- a phone in the rooms to call the front desk and ask for towels would be nice. More hooks or shelves in the bathroom and sink area. 2 white robes would be a really nice touch and helpful. Finally, the shampoo/conditioner and shower gel were not great. Other hotels (even less expensive ones) have offered better products. Finally- the people working the front desk barely acknowledged us at all- no greeting- no smile. Just kind of sitting there. Sort of weird for being in hospitality.

Charming spacious suite room with extra king bed in loft. Walking distance to downtown Frankfort. And just over a mile to Buffalo Trace, a great way to start your bourbon trail adventures.

Cute boutique hotel with a great restaurant. Two minor issues: the online checkin system is not working, didn't find out until I called; next time we would request a top floor room as we could hear every footstep from the room above.

A BIG problem with not having on site parking, especially as it was advertised as $12 self park. When we couldn't find it I called the front desk who told me to go down the hill and across the street to the KY Historical Society parking lot. Also there is no where to drive up to the front to drop bags etc. or anyone to help you with your bags. VERY disappointing for $200 a night. Once we were in the hotel, everything was lovely, except for the train tracks that run directly behind the property (like with in feet) whistle blowing at 8 am. Our fault for not booking earlier, but we were also disappointed that when we arrived at 5:30pm the restaurant, Cypress and Oak was fully booked for the evening. This was a Tuesday night in early Oct. It did not appear that it was full of hotel guests.

Great room and location! We love the restaurant next door. Front desk agent was not welcoming and was not receptive in helping us get our preferred room. Hotel is walkable to downtown Frankfort. Second stay this year.

Definitely Give This Hotel A Try. NO Disapointment

Very cool historic hotel with a beautiful vibe. Friendly staff. Very large and clean room. Had a drink after dinner in the hotel restaurant but next time will definitely try dinner there as well. Looks amazing! Great location, parking a bit tricky but I understand they are working on that. Would definitely recommend and will stay again...

Overall, it was a good experience. I chose this hotel though because I thought there was a bar. There is an attached to restaurant that was absolutely fantastic. But sitting at the bar in a standalone restaurant is just different than a hotel bar.

Convenient location for visiting Buffalo Trace and several dining/shopping options are within a close walking distance. I don't really have anything bad to say about this place other than it's just okay. They did charge me at check in again even though I prepaid, but I was refunded a few days later and the emails they sent us to do a pre-check in and check out never worked. Also no vent in the small bathroom so it made the whole room hot if youre taking a hot shower.
