The beauty of Roadford Lake is to be savoured, with its fantastic views and plethora of wildlife. There are many water-sport activities here, from kayaking to windsurfing with many walks and pathways to discover. Just half an hour distant is the magnificent Dartmoor National Park, with its million shades of green, meadows and valleys, breathtaking tors, rivers and streams. To the north lies the rugged coastline of Devon with its dramatic scenery whilst to the west lies some of the best beaches in Cornwall, including those of family friendly Bude, along with huge Widemouth Bay. Pass through atmospheric Bodmin Moor on the way to Padstow, where fabulous celebrity chef inspired restaurants serve up delicious seafood fayre, whilst a visit to the coastal villages of Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle are guaranteed to delight at every turn.
