The space
Conveniently located between Lihue and Kapaa, and just 2 miles from Lihue Airport, Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort provides easy access to the island’s longest shoreline.
Our beautiful resort is situated oceanfront on 25 lush acres, featuring four stunning pools, including three lagoon pools with waterfalls and a child-friendly sandy-bottom pool with a 75-foot water slide. You can also enjoy two hot tubs and poolside lounges for endless relaxation. The beautifully landscaped grounds include a state-of-the-art fitness center, Starbucks coffee, retail shops, a hair salon, a business center, meeting and banquet facilities, a European spa offering massages and facials, art exhibits, live music, and more.
Our dining options include the Naupaka Terrace, Shutters Lounge, Driftwood Bar & Grille (poolside), and in-room dining. Just beyond the resort, you'll find an expansive white sand beach with breathtaking views of the Pacific. We highly recommend taking a short 3-minute walk to Nukolii Beach to catch the incredible sunrise if you're an early riser or adjusting to the time zone.
With our prime location on the east side of the island, Kauai Beach Resort offers easy access to all of Kauai's top attractions, whether you're interested in hiking the Napali Coast, exploring Waimea Canyon, golfing at the nearby Wailua Golf Course, swimming and sunbathing at Lydgate Beach Park, kayaking up the Wailua River to the Fern Grotto, or simply relaxing on the beach. This first-floor unit is conveniently located closest to the pool, offering direct access from the Lanai. Just beyond the pool area lies the beach and the Pacific Ocean.
Guest access
We cater to travelers who prefer to skip cooking and cleaning, allowing them to spend more time vacationing and taking advantage of resort amenities. Guests can use all the self-service amenities, such as the gym or the pool. Additionally, you have the option to use the surcharge activities, including the spa, restaurants, and bars, or book a tour (such as a helicopter tour) through the concierge desk. However, we are not part of the hosted classes like the koi feeding class or yoga classes. Also, there is no daily turn-down service. This is a privately managed room within the resort.
Fees explained :
* The total cost you see includes both the checkout cleaning fee and the resort fee. For stays over 12 nights, we provide a complimentary mid-stay refresher cleaning service.
* Hotel parking is available for $40 USD per night, and payment can be made directly at the front desk.
* For your convenience, the resort is easily accessible from the airport via a short Uber ride.
* If you are looking for 2 rooms combined that sleep up to 7, 3 rooms combined that sleep up to 9, or 4 rooms combined that sleep up to 11, we have two Pool Ocean View rooms, a Premier Garden View room, and a Mountain View room. Please message us for details.

Payment terms: if you are an early booker, we provide the flexibility of paying 30% upfront, 30% within 60 days of check in, and 40% within 35 days of check in so you don't tie up all of your funds upfront.

Resort renovations:
The resort periodically undertakes renovation projects aimed at significantly enhancing our guest experience. The resort is diligently working to minimize any disruption to our valued guests while these important upgrades are in progress. Our unit is in a different building from the main lobby, where the renovation work is currently taking place. A new conference room is expected to be completed by the end of March. Following this, the lobby, lobby bar, and a new restaurant are currently on schedule to be finished in late May or early June. Additionally, our new Voyager 47 club-level lounge and a new fitness center are set to open in August or the third quarter of 2026.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as the resort works to transform itself to provide guests with the best possible experience, and look forward to presenting a fully refreshed and upgraded resort. Furthermore, most units at the resort anticipate an increase in nightly rates following the completion of renovations. The rates have been temporarily reduced to accommodate the renovation process.
