I've stayed in this hotel a couple times before, this was my least favorite visit. It was mostly bad timing...noisy construction (kept us from enjoying the courtyard) and guests with screaming kids. Also didn't appreciate how many people decided to smoke on the deck when this is a 100% non-smoking property. We stayed for 4 nights, only requested housekeeping 1 day and she didn't even bother to vacuum. I even left them a $15 tip that day. All in all it was a great vacation, just a few things could have been better and cleaner.

Area felt safe. Room was very comfortable. Loved having chairs by a large window so we could enjoy the view. Breakfast buffet is always a plus. Wish they had brooms in the room - you can't help but bing in a little sand with you & I would have liked to keep the floor swept up for my own comfort.

Nice view but unable to get to the beach because stairs are too steep and slippery. Breakfast was good, attendant very good at keeping everything full. No fresh fruit. Room was not cleaned during the three days we were there. No elevator which made it difficult for us as we are older. Staff was very helpful.

Our room was clean and quiet. The view of the ocean was great. There was a fireplace, nice tv and kitchen area. We liked the firepit on the patio. We only had one night to stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

I stayed at Surfland and the view was absolutely breathtaking—walking into the room literally stopped me in my tracks! The staff was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable.
