I am a retired hotel quality assurance inspector. So i see more than the average guest. The manager and the Hospitality agent were doing shift change so we had to wait to be checked in. Next there were no luggage carts. Finally the Hos. Agent found one for us. Overall our room was good. The drapery on the patio door is in need of drapery hooks, so it hung kitty/wampus. There needs to be more attention to detail on cleaning the corners of the bathroom floor. All in all our stay was very nice and we will be back in the near future.

The staff really makes this place. They seem very busy, but just hearing the front desk interact with the tenants and how well they seem to know each other makes it really feel welcoming. Brandon the manager is the man, and the cleaning staff there really did us a solid. The facility is old, there’s no way around that. Some of the stuff needs updating and the interior is dated. However, it’s a fantastic value and a gem considering how expensive traveling is nowadays. I am already planning a summer stay.

We got to the coast 50 minutes before 4 and asked if our room was ready. The wonderful women at the counter peeped around the corner and states "I'm looking for my boss" and allows us to check in slightly early. Without mention of anything or stated anything. Wonderful person, nice place, great room. Carpet had a long tear in it in front of jacuzzi covered by chair and jacuzzi bubbles didnt turn on. We had a great stay. No complaints UNTIL we left and the we recieve a message stating they were charging us for early check in. But no one stated that or explained that. To even allow us to choose. So be aware. Outside of that I would gladly stay again.

Had a great stay. Front desk Kim was awesome!!! View was great. Quiet bed was comfortable. Room did show some wear but was very clean. Will stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. This was. The worst room I've had there.It was number 402. It had a window for a Bay View, but there was no screen in the window. So it was kind of a dangerous situation. The bathroom toilook like it came out of a child's playhouse.It was so small . The toilet seat was broken and dirty , which was a real turn off. Quinliness was o k at best. I found the bed Uncomfortable. It was a beautiful day at the beach. Which really helped. I will. Probably go back but I'll be checking things out a little better up front. I thought I was supposed to have a balcony but again It was just a window that was unsafe to open as it had no screen or bars to stop any item or kid from falling out.Hotel needs to be updated which would make it an awesome place to stay

The jetted tub was nice. The hotel is old and has not been updated. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was very basic. Comfortable bed, nice view.

Our favorite place. You can see sea lions right from the beach. This was our 2nd trip with getting 3 rooms on the beach with balconies. Wish the breakfast room was bigger. We did not use it this time, over crowded.

Location was amazing, being able to have our dogs with us was a huge plus! Downsides, the lady at the desk didn't tell us how to get to our room, or other basic stay info other than breakfast time and lobby doors closing @ 10pm. We booked 2 rooms, and unfortunately we were on seperate floors. My husband has a cpap and went to move a chair and stepped in cold dog urine in our room (luckily it didn't smell). I went down to front office since there were no instructions on how to call front desk. Gentleman at the front was very friendly and informative and came up to the room to clean the urine, and make sure we knew all accomodation info. Beds were hard as heck, breakfast was so so. Overall cheap rooms for the location/time of year, with great views, but you get what you pay for I guess.
