Yes Scarlet does give a damn

I stayed at The Scarlett in Lincoln, Nebraska, and I’m still trying to figure out how to move in without anyone noticing. The place is pristine – like, did a designer and a clean freak have a beautiful baby and name it this hotel? The food? Let’s just say I considered asking for the chef’s autograph. I may or may not have licked my plate. And the sleep. Ohhh the sleep. I conked out so fast I didn’t even have time to doomscroll. Best sleep of my life! Lily the bartender at the rooftop bar is 10/10.

Wonderful surprise! It is beautiful and clean inside, the interior design is very classy and always something different to admire every day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooftop bar was fun, you can see all of UNL and downtown Lincoln was stunning at sundown. A special place to stay. Enjoy!

Great Place to Stay In Lincoln

The Scarlet was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I was there on business and the customer's office was literally next door. This turned out to be really important because there was a big winter storm that pushed temperatures to 10 below while I was there and it was nice to just walk about 60 yards to my customer's office as opposed to needing to drive in those conditions. The hotel staff is warm and inviting. They have a nice restaurant and bar on site that serves really good meals. There is also a coffee shop that serves breakfast items and snacks throughout the day. The room rate was very reasonable. The only quibble I have with the guest rooms is that the lighting is dim which makes the rooms feel generally dark. This is not unique to this hotel as I am seeing it as a trend. Hotels have removed the ceiling lights and have installed a series of lamps instead. Even with turning all the lamps on, there are still dark areas in the room. Regardless, I will stay here again and have no problem recommending the hotel to others.
