I could not fault this hotel. Prime location. Staff were super kind & welcoming. Room was clean, cosy, great size, felt brand new. Bed was honestly a dream. Even the hand soap smelt amazing!
Great security too where you need your room card to access corridors so felt safe.
I last visited this building 32 years ago when that staircase in the photo was inches deep in pigeon guano. To see this beautiful building which is part of Liverpool's heritage back - and back with a bang - is wonderful. That it is so well run and offers such a friendly welcome simply adds to the experience
We had a very comfortable room with a view of St George’s Hall in this splendid Victorian building with striking contemporary decor. Our Superior room was of adequate size for a weekend, but for a longer stay the slightly larger Premier room might be preferable. The breakfast had a good choice of food, but that from the cooked buffet wasn’t very hot and tended to be a little dry.
Only a one night stay but so convenient to train station and to where we drink and eat. Friendly staff and lovely comfortable beds and great pillows and very clean
