The hotel is clean the staff were amazing and very helpful the breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are clean but tired. I walked in to my room and felt a hole in the floorboard under the carpet. To be fair for the price you can put up with the tired decor. The Hotel is on the seafront our room had a fantastic view of the pier.
Omg what a horrible hotel, rooms absolutely rotten. From paint falling off everywhere. The strong smell of bleach to mask the damp smell when entering the room. I could go on but it take far longer than im willing to indulge. Why do they put pictures on of the hotel that must be years old.

Worn out
Overall the experience was ok. Pretty average. The hotel is typical old and grand but unable to keep up with the constant renovations needed to stay at the top of its game. Best to worst.
The staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is good either the standard full cooked and continental style. The evening meal is basic, but stay and enough. Service is quick because it is preordered. The room was a mixed bag. It was quiet and comfortable. The best area was perfect but the rest was in a shocking state of repair. The ceilings and carpet are heavily stained and the bathroom window glass is literally taped together. Worst is the parking. 10 spaces for a hotel with 10 times as many rooms. I was parked about 1/4 mile away. I would not return.
The Marine was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed with my 7yr old grandson and the staff went out of their way to engage with him. The pool was clean and warm and the childrens’ entertainment was excellent. The food and service was good. The only negative was that the decor needed an upgrade. A very enjoyable stay, I will be back.
Basic room was comfortable enough, couldnt get wifi or much signal though.
Heated towel rail didnt work, bathroom light worked half time.
Nice tea facilities and staff lovely and helpful.
Good breakfast choice and enjoyed it.

Lovely location, friendly staff. Meals were very basic , more like B@B than hotel. Looks like revamp underway and could be fantastic.
The hotel is very nice. Lovely food especially the breakfast. My bed was very comfy and the room very clean. I was disappointed that there was only entertainment on one of my three night stay. I would definitely stay at the Marine again.
The catering staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Much appreciation goes to the reception manager Lorraine who assisted us to cancel with Expedia our final night at the hotel due to a family bereavement

Most Expensive Place to Taken Your Canine £25 /ngt
Food was good, service was good. Room was small, and very hot. And we were put in there for a three day stay. Marine Hotel you could have done better.
We even had dog hairs on our bed. Shower was out dated and needed regrouting. Made it looked dirty.
And this was our 10th stay. And to make things worse! The cost for a dog has gone up from £10 to £25 per night. Making the Marine Hotel the most expensive place to take your dog overnight. Not only the most expensive in North Wales but also the UK as a whole. I would love the Marine Hotel to justify why an increase of 150%. Poor!
Not what we expected , room was very small and not clean very dated and smelt a little funky ,
Hotel itself was nice we loved the entertainment but just let down by the room
Nice hotel in a great location on the prom with friendly helpful service. My main issues was with the doors. It is extremely difficult to close them quietly and many of the other guests just let them slam. Not great in the middle of the night. Another issue was the stairs. Yes there were lifts, but to get to some rooms you still had to go through doors and up and down short flught of stairs.
Extremely dated such a shame for these old buildings but there’s no need for sticky sofas, very outdated orange pine furniture, bad paint jobs, water stained walls and leaking windows, needs some TLC and better lighting!
