The Craftsman on Main Street

The Craftsman on Main St has recently been renovated, keeping its 1930's charm while adding a modern touch, in the heart of Lockhart, TX. The home is walking distance to the square where you'll find great eats like Smitty's BBQ, Old Pal, Commerce Street Cafe, and Loop n Lil's Pizza, to name a few. Also, take in the sight of our 120+ year old Courthouse. After you've eaten your way through the BBQ Capital of Texas, kick off your shoes and relax on the front porch, while admiring two 150+ yr old Oak trees.
The space
Our large, inviting, fully furnished front porch is one of the four relaxing areas to congregate where guests can watch tv, or just sit and relax while enjoying the small town sounds.

As you walk into the front door, you'll notice the 12 ft ceilings that make this quaint home feel open and spacious with beautifully restored hardwood floors.

The living room boasts a gorgeous reclaimed shiplap wall and a decorative fireplace that brings a cozy vibe. Hang your hat next to the vintage bar cabinet that provides cocktail utensils. During the day, the natural light brightens and energizes the space.

Our bedrooms sleep up to 8 guests with TV's in each room to accommodate everyone's preference. You'll be amazed with the standing shower space in both bathrooms as you are welcomed into them with custom barn doors that were made with 100 year old reclaimed shiplap wood from this very home.

The open dining room and fully equipped kitchen is another place for guests to congregate and mingle. Notice the customized vent hood made of reclaimed shiplap that ties into our shiplap dining room ceiling.

A fully stocked coffee/tea bar allows you to brew a full pot of coffee or a single cup of coffee/tea for your enjoyment throughout the day.

The final place for guests to congregate is our back deck that is lit up every evening, starting at 5pm.
