Starr Valley Cabin is a 2 Bedroom Cabin within walking distance to Old Man's Cave Park in Hocking Hills. Enjoy the convenience of not having to find a parking space in a full lot at old man's cave park. A Large yard with level area for easy parking. After hiking come and enjoy our 6 Person hot tub on a covered porch. We offer an outdoor firepit with 2 covered porches with outdoor furniture. A 40" smart TV with satellite TV and wireless internet for your enjoyment. A full kitchen with basic cooking utensils and tableware and a full-size bathroom with tub/shower combo. WE HAVE A SIMULAR CABIN DAKOTA TRAIL WHICH IS CLOSE BY AND PONDEROSA WHICH IS ON THE SAME PROPERTY, LISTED ON VRBO , Pets welcome with a $50.00 fee per stay , please don't forget to ✅ the box . (click the box that says Travelers) then the the pets box comes up

This is a great place! Close enough to the various park entrances, yet set far enough from the road to give you the sensation of being in the back woods. Our host was very attentive and quickly took care of every request. There were 3 in our party (2 parents and 1 adult child) and we had plenty of room. The cabin was rustic and cozy, with comfortable beds and electric baseboard heat for the chilly nights we had during our stay. The gas grill works great, and the cabin has a brand new stove, which really helped with the cooking. We are very happy with our stay and with our host!

This was a very cute little cabin that was equipped with everything we needed. Especially nice was the closeness to Hocking Hills State Park - the reason for our visit. We could even walk to one of the main trails! A very quiet, private, peaceful setting. The owner was in touch with us right from booking and checked to see if we needed anything when we got there. Very helpful and friendly. I’ve rented through VRBO for over 20 years - even in Europe - and have never had a bad experience - this was no exception! I would highly recommend this property. And - we could bring our dog - a plus!

This cabin is perfectly located for a short walk to many trails/destinations in the area. Check-in was smooth and the hosts were friendly (there was a power outage earlier). Loved our weekend getaway!

Nice cabin close to many hiking trails. Little stream by the house made for a pleasant place to enjoy a morning coffee. Kitchen is well equip. The cabin could use a deep cleaning. Overall, was everything I was hoping it to be.

This was our second year in a row spending the week between Christmas and New Years here. We loved it as much as last time. This year we got some snow and there were some power outages due to high winds and downed trees in the area, the host was great about checking in and kept offering extra blankets lights etc. which was very sweet. They can’t control the weather and we were prepared with extras just in case because we understood it was winter and Hocking can get severe weather sometimes. We had a great time hanging out playing games by candlelight and we’re still plenty warm. My only suggestion is a new microwave may be in order.

The location of the cabin being so close to Old Man's Cave and the Hocking Hills Visitor's Center is really cool and convenient. The cabin is a little rustic but very functional. It allowed my wife and I to have a much needed rest and relaxation after a long fall semester. The owners were very responsive via text and phone call to deal with any issues and even promptly delivered a fresh set of towels for us when we asked for it. Some suggestions that would have made the stay better:- may be good to upgrade the grill since the heating elements are disintegrating and the metal grill itself has some broken parts. I was still able to use it, but it needs an upgrade.- the cabin needs a cutting board, scissors- some of the kitchen utensils may need to be replaced - some are really old and fragile. We were cooking an omelette and one of the spatulas just broke into 3 pieces while we were cooking.

Super clean, cozy, the property contact responded quickly to our question. Property has a great location, however was also quiet, private. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need. Satellite TV was good. We did not use the hot tub. We highly recommend this cabin.

Excellent central location just minutes away from several easy hikes. Attentive hosts. Everything was as promised. Perfectly comfortable with AC and Hot Tub a bonus. Nice that there are two (2) bedrooms.
