Location good. Close to London Bridge and Burroughs Market. There is a Sainbury market across the plaza. I was charged twice for a uk adapter and they refuse to correct the error or provide the correct receipt.

The air conditioner was not working in our room for the duration of our stay. When reported, the front reception said they would have it looked at. No one ever came and the front desk did not communicate. When speaking with other guests, they commented that the air in their rooms was so cold that they had to turn it down. Our room was stagnant and sticky the entire stay. It was reported 4 times. On the last day I was told that maintenance was off the past two days, basically meaning that they were not truthful when they said they would get them to look at it.

The room AC was very poor and it was very hot, the shower was all mouldy (head and ceiling), and the facilities were very poor. Very hot in the common areas with limited AC in hot weather makes it impossible to even relax.

Excellent location. Walking distance from underground station and with a Sainsbury’s right in front. Nice restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. However, the room was dark, with insufficient lights to brighten it. Also, the frigobar was not working.

In need of renovation

This hotel must have been lovely ten years ago. Looking tatty and very well-used now. Still comfortable, rooms still big and airy and it felt safe. A lick of paint and replacing the fittings would make a huge difference. Also not ideal for transport links but the local area is very nice.
