This was a very affordable option just minutes from the main strip in Long Beach, WA. There were some eating options near this location which was great. Quiet location. For the most part I didn't see staff after checking in. The room was clean and even looked to have been updated recently with some work perhaps still happening. This is not a five star motel, but it serves it's purpose well without breaking the bank on a beach front hotel. Clean and cool environment. The bar / restaurant next door had some music going and looked to be festive. You may want to check them out if you stay at Heidi's. The port in Ilwaco (iLwaco, WA) is just down the street. Work the drive or walk. Beautiful water front views.

Honestly it was great! I definitely want to give a shootout to Devin! I swear he was the from open to close the entire weekend, and he was amazing! Definitely a great host! I would say the only downfall was the fact that there was no Air conditioning and with the big room and the amount of people we had staying in the room it was definitely very warm in there. But other than that, it was a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Nice but

Initially I called to check in. They said they would put a key in a lockbox because I would be arriving after 8pm. The office was closed but the key was in the lockbox. I tried to open the door to the room and a man shouted “wrong room”. I wasn’t sure what to do. I walked back to the office. Thankfully there was someone in the office this time. I had inadvertently been given the wrong key. The bed was comfortable but the floor desperately needed sweeping. I walked barefoot and the bottoms of my feet were covered in dirt. The shower head was very low. I’m 5’6” and had to duck a little. The television remote wouldn’t work to change channels only to turn on/off and adjust volume. After 30 minutes I got up to investigate. I discovered the satellite receiver behind the desk. My husband and I moved the desk so that the remote could connect with the receiver. It worked fine after that. The nice thing was the microwave and refrigerator worked. There was also an alarm clock where we could plug in an usb cord to charge our phones.

This was a one-night stay in a longer road trip. I would NEVER stay here again. Immediately upon arriving, my husband and I were nervously looking at each other. The exterior looked extremely run down. Check in was mostly pain-free but that was about the only pro. The beds were pretty comfortable but the sheets were very scratchy. There are no elevators, so you have to carry stuff up (there may have been a ramp somewhere). There is no AC. There were windows that were open when we arrived, but honestly, the place seemed sketchy and unsafe so we were afraid to leave them open. We even propped a chair under our door at night. There was a fridge in the room, but it didn’t work.

Simple on the outside, the rooms are pretty simple - but very well kept up and very clean! Comfortable beds, and it’s QUIET! The people running the place are the best people ever. They really care that you enjoy your stay and they know the area which is helpful. They were very accommodating and were there late for us to check in. The room we had was HUGE, if you need a room for a large group they have one that will comfortably sleep between 6-9 people. The flooring, kitchen, appliances - all new or new-ish. Perfect placement if you want to be in between Long Beach and Astoria. Will absolutely stay there again.
