This property was very nice! The area around the hotel felt safe. The rooms were clean; the lobby, bar and other public areas were nice and stylish. The staff was outstanding except for one worker, who may have been a lead or manager, that was quite snobby when we asked a question, but everyone else we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Things to know: the hotel is in Downtown LA so there is only valet parking available at the hotel for a fee of $30-$40 per day (can't remember the exact price), however, you can come and go as you please and your vehicle is parked safely in their garage; there is a $25 per day "destination fee", but they allow you to use it as a food and beverage credit; the elevator is very confusing to use, you have to enter your specific information like the floor and room number on the correct elevator, which is something I've never seen before (still not sure if this process is exactly correct, but the staff will help you). Overall, this hotel was great, its pricey, but definitely worth the price. It's great having piece of mind that you are booking a nice, clean, safe hotel in the DTLA area.

Property was not too far from the convention center. It was an easy walk. Also close to a grocery store and shopping. However, the sidewalks had some animal and some human waste and those areas tended to be smelly.
