Location right on the beach was great. Property gardens are well looked after. Good pool. Buffet style restaurant food was simple and well prepared. Breakfast omelettes were great! Facility has a homey Mexican feel. However the room we had needs a makeover in the bathroom. The shower had mould at the bottom of the fixed glass panel because the installation method not allowing water to drain. Also there is no exhaust fan. Why? Beds are firm and just ok but pillows are crap. Chipped foam pillows are always horrible. Get memory foam pillows Otherwise great value for the money and would still recommend.

Overall an enjoyable and affordable stay for good value. There is some construction nearby for another building and some of the facilities are limited (example is the hottub is usually full of people). Would recommend for a couple or a family looking for a cozy and easy vacation.

The resort is small and cozy, had a good pool and beach area. Food was real good and had different themes each day. The pool snack bar was okay. The bar was small but functionable and they had entertainment every night. The rooms are dated but were clean. Great place if you want low key relaxation. Was close to amenities and downtown(s)

Nice, short getaway

The Hotel Posada Real was comfortable, VERY relaxing and peaceful. The food ranged between average and good, depending on what night it was. The hotel staff were friendly, but be warned...upon arrival, they have you sit with the concierge who then talks to you about timeshares, so you can politely say "no gracias". Also, the beach located on the property is not great...you actually have to walk down off of the beach property, and to be honest, it's not great. There are other beaches not too far away, such as Playa El Chileno, which is much, much better.

For a dated property this was nice. Very clean and quiet. The shower was excellent. The dining room was good, the staff was excellent. They were very friendly , helpful and pleasant. The beach was not very good. The sand was very hard on bare feet and going into the water is not advised because of the rip tide. That made it so we only walked on the beach one time. That is something we both really enjoy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place. We would come back. The top reason for us was the peace and quiet.

It was my first time at an all-inclusive and it was very nice. I think the only thing IIt was my first time at an all-inclusive and it was very nice. I think the only thing I wish was a little bit different was that they had a heated pool. Granted, I know it’s warm, but the hot tub should be hot and the pool should be warm. But the people were really great oh elevators if you have a handicap I don’t know if they have rooms on a ground floor without stairs. So you might want to ask before booking.

The property was run down. The rooms were old and not kept up. Fresh paint was very much needed in the rooms. The furniture was old and worn. The bathroom was updated but not clean. The pool and jacuzzi was dirty and not skimmed. The food in the dining room was ok but not great. Cleanliness was lacking. We did not stay the complete duration of our stay and found other accommodations spending additional funds for our stay. There was no security and there a few guest that should have been escorted out and refuse service because they were literally so drunk they could not walk and were on the floor in the bar, lounge area. We did not get our money’s worth.
