Please obtain travel insurance for your trip as I do not offer refunds for any reason. Unfortunately, things can happen that are out of your control, such as flight cancellations, illnesses or unforeseen circumstances. You will be happy you have coverage if something unexpected interrupts your trip.

Make sure to stop at Kroger, Walmart or another local place to pick up some firewood before heading to the home.

We came for a guys weekend for my buddies 42nd birthday. The house was fantastic - clean, comfortable, stylish, comfortable beds and linen, incredibly well stocked kitchen (we cooked every meal at the house) and we loved the basement game room area. We played poker one night and pool every night we were there. Chelle, the host, was great. Very responsive and kind. If/when we come back, we will for sure book this place again.

WONDERFUL VRBO! Chelle was an excellent communicator: replied to our questions quickly, checked in with us during our stay making sure all was well, and made check out super easy! Loved all the special touches: pet corner, towel displays, horse decor, notes throughout the home. Located in a quiet lovely neighborhood, with several distilleries, restaurants, and shops nearby. Pictures online are very accurate: beautiful & spacious interior, AWSOME backyard with relaxing hot tub and fire pit. We highly recommend staying at this home!

The house was great. We really enjoyed the basement - pool table and poker table room. We spent a lot of time playing games and visiting here. There was space for all of us to find our spot. The neighborhood was nice and friendly. We found this convenient to run to Louisiville (30 min), Frankfort (35 min) and Cincy (90 min). The upstairs was a bit warm so we turned the AC down but the 1st floor and basement were really cold. There were lots of amenities. Communication was great with the host. Three full baths was also nice for 5 adults. With the heat during our stay, we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoor spaces as much. We highly recommend this place.

Bourbon Trail Experience

The house is really big and spacious. Loved the quiet lovely neighborhood. Grill worked great, all other appliances were good as well. Have your housekeeper check the shampoo and soap bottles after each stay. 2-3 of ours were empty. Otherwise we had an exceptional visit. Also, great location for folks visiting along the Bourbon Trail.

Bourbon Trail with Buddies

Great house in a good location for hitting the Bourbon trail. We had a group of three couples and it was the perfect set up for us. We loved the special amenities—hot tub, fire pit, poker table. The entire house was so well organized. There were small things throughout that made it clear how much the owners have given thought and planning to being good hosts (I.e.: towels for hot tub right next to door leading outside). The location is good to traveling to different areas of Kentucky’s bourbon trails. Close to many, not far from any. Extra travel tip—great bourbon pours are actually available at the brewery in this town, which is within walking distance of this house.

Made some wonderful memories with our adult kids.

This home has everything! Our host provided all that we needed in a welcoming, inviting home. Lovely house in a nice neighborhood. We had five adults and one small dog, and had plenty of room. Hot tub was great at night after a busy day on the bourbon trail. The game room and poker table also provided lots of laughs and good times together. Excellent!!
