Enjoy a quiet and charming getaway to our comfortable 2 Bedroom Cottage. With close proximity to Taylorsville Lake, the world-famous Bourbon Trail, and Louisville, there's always something to do. Whether you enjoy fishing, golfing, swimming, hiking, or just relaxing, our space is the ideal destination for your group.

Our 950 sq. ft. cottage has 2 BEDROOMS. The master bedroom features 1 King bed while the second bedroom features 1 Twin bed, 1 Twin Bunk bed, and 1 Trundle bed. There's also an additional blow-up mattress to accommodate additional guests.

Get ready for your day in the 2 BATHROOMS, one of which is in-suite to the master bedroom. We'll provide you with toiletries, towels, and a hairdryer. Keep your clothes clean with the in-suite washer and dryer.

After a day relaxing by Taylorsville Lake, retreat to our comfortable air-conditioned LIVING AREA with a lovely fireplace. Curl up on the sofa and watch your favorite show on the Roku TV or bring a movie to watch on the DVD player. You can easily connect with friends and family back home, courtesy of the complimentary Wi-Fi. In the evening, step out onto your private balcony and enjoy some fresh air or soothe your muscles in the private hot tub!

In the KITCHEN, you'll find a stove, an oven, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, dishes, basic cooking products, and a blender. Start your morning with a cup of coffee fresh from our in-suite coffee machine! For dinner, whip up a tasty meal on the charcoal grill.

There are a number of other amenities you're sure to enjoy when you stay at The Boulevardier Cottage #19, including access to a shared outdoor pool (open during the summer), volleyball courts, meeting and banquet facilities, and many hiking trails.

We recommend bringing a car to get around the area! You'll find parking available outside the cottage for up to 2 cars. Additional parking is available at the entrance of the community.

Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet and we will do our best to accommodate them for an additional fee of $75 per stay (maximum 2 pets).

Spend a day fishing in Taylorsville Lake! Enjoy sunny days while golfing at Tanglewood Golf Course, a 6-minute drive away. If you don't feel like cooking, enjoy a tasty meal at Fiesta Mexicana or at Snappy Tomato Pizza.

We recommend your own transportation as there is no public transportation. There are 2 parking spaces at the cottage, with plenty of additional parking near the pool or up at the front office. Please wear shoes walking around the grounds as there is gravel in some areas of the resort.
We have NEST cameras on the back porch and front monitoring both entry doors. These are for safety.
• You'll find parking available outside the cottage for up to 2 cars. Additional parking is available at the entrance of the community.
• Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet there is a $75 pet fee. There is a max of 2 pets per stay. Please make sure to add them to your reservation. We ask that no pets be on the couches or beds. If an animal is to be left alone at the cottage, please provide a kennel for the animal(s)

Booked cabin for Sunday to Friday morning. A day or 2 before the trip we were sent the access code and a list of rules that were not on the listing (no shoes in house, etc). They also advised with the rules there were 2 nest camera's one looking at front and one in back pointed at the grill. We got there Sunday afternoon unloaded everything, went out to back 'private' porch to see hot tub, only to see nest camera pointing directly at the hot tub. That night we killed at least 2 spiders in the house and there were dead bugs and live ones on the sinks, spots on walls were previous traveler's killed insects, 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 5 day stay and 2 trash bags for 5 day stay (glad we brought our own). I understand this cabin is in the woods but we have stayed in several cabins over the years and none had this type of insect problems in the house. By Tuesday evening my wife was feeling so uncomfortable we packed up and left. Messaged host, she said the listing has information on the nest cameras and the back one is not directly on the hot tub (she may want to visit the property and look for herself and nowhere on VRBO listing mentios the cameras). Asked for at least 1 night refund as place was not as described at all and we stayed for only 2 out of 5 nights, host hasn't responded since then. I would not recommend at all unless you want to come home and treat several insect bites and feel you are being watched everywhere you go.

Fun get away

It was a nice place. The only complaints were the couch and recliner both were very uncomfortable. Also the bench in the kitchen is missing a screw. we had 5 and when all were sitting at the table when the last person sat down the bench fell the leg fell off, luckily it screwed back on and nobody was hurt but it could’ve been bad if it was the oldest one that fell off of the bench in the group. Other than that we were happy.

Derby weekend

Just a great little cottage for my wife and I along with 2 friends for derby weekend. About 45 minutes to Louisville. Absolutely loved every aspect of the cottage and will look into staying here again during summer to be able to enjoy the lake. Host was great and checked in to ensure we were good with everything. Great experience

Perfect location

Great spot - revealed here for the PGA Championship in Louisville in May of '24 - the cottage was just what was expected and needed. Good location for what we like - close enough to everything, but far enough away that it's quiet and secluded. Great launching spot for getting out to tour the bourbon trail and Central Kentucky. (Which is a more beautiful area than I had expected... And I had high expectations.) Great hosts as well - staying in touch with us wne ensured we had what we needed to make the trip enjoyable.

Nice Resort & Cottage

It's a nice quiet gated resort, very clean, comfortable. Property mgmt. went out of their way to answer questions, and help me when I accidentally left something. If we are ever in KY again, I'd use again.

Outstanding getaway!

If you are looking for a great getaway with all the amenities without the outrageous price this is the place for you. Hot tub in the master bedroom. Bathroom for every room and a great cozy kitchen to have fun, food, family and fellowship all at once.

Property was just as seen on photos, only bummer is we stayed prior to opening day for pool. There is a hiking trail located behind pool that will take you down to the lake. We rented a boat and grilled out and enjoyed the hot tub.. could have been cleaner but overall stay was a 10

Home away from home

We love visiting family in Ky & staying at Edgewater Resort. This property is situated with a great view of the lake. Despite the freezing temps in March, we had fun. The property manager responsive. The cottage was cozy & the kitchen fully equipped.

The fireplace didn't have propane. The hot tub took until Sunday morning to reach it's temperature. The kuerig coffee maker was very dirty. I wouldn't recommend #19 to anyone. The owners did give us a credit for one night. Hopefully the next guests have a better experience.
