In the summer months, grab your bath towel and walk the few meters to the nearby beach by the fjord. Here you can also cast your line and, with skill and luck, catch fresh fish for dinner. The Avnö Nature Center is in the immediate vicinity. Bring your own kayaks and set off straight away to explore the water. You can also plan excursions to Vordingborg and Nästved and spend a day at the chalk cliffs on the island of Mön!
