The kitchen was well-equipped with the appliances and accessories to make a simple meal. The apartment is tastefully decorated and works well for two people. The neighborhood is close to lots of great restaurants and to Vieux Lyon. I would stay here again.

Great Accommodation, location and host. The apartment was very quiet,secure and large. Location was 20 min walk to the Lyon old town and 25 min walk to the large main square. There was everything we needed eg. washing machine detergent,kitchen and bathroom supplies.We paid for secure parking a 25min walk away for the week-cost 51 euros as we read cars on the street were broken into. Highly recommend this accomodation. We will stay here again.

Restful stay in Lyon

A comfortable apartment on the first floor in an old building with lift. All kitchen appliances and washer were in excellent condition. Located a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants but convenient to bus stop. We used buses extensively and they served us well. The building is one row back from the street (not riverfront), so was very quiet.

A Quiet and Comfortable Lyon Apartment

The apartment is well equipped with a modern kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of space for two people. The owner Olivier met us when we arrived and gave us all the information we would need. We liked the location on the river, walking distance to the sights and restaurants. A bus stop is very close. The apartment was a good base for visiting Lyon.

Tranquil Retreat for Foodies

Olivier was the best host these well travelled seniors have ever encountered. He has anticipated most needs and has created a welcoming and well stocked apartment. The location is prime for exploring on foot (both Old Lyon and the Place des Terreaux area). There are many small grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and a wonderful butcher shop within walking distance. There is a bus stop close by and easy access to the riverside Quai. The European sized shower/sink room may be too small and awkward for some but we managed fine. We recommend this apartment and would be happy to return.

Wonderful Host and Location

A very comfortable and clean apartment located along the Saône River. It is just a few minutes walk from the old town and there is a bakery just across the river's footbridge. If you have a car, there is parking but it is all pay parking. A small pay parking lot (about 20 spaces) is in front of the building (35 Euro/day). If taking the train, you will want to taxi from the station or take the TER to Lyon St Paul. 40 minute walk vs 14 minute walk. Because the apartment is located in the back of the building, there is no view except into an inner courtyard private parking area. The host, Olivier, provided excellent communication and was so kind as to even provide me with breakfast treats when I arrived!

Il a répondu à toutes nos questions et nous avait laissé des boissons fraîches dans le réfrigérateur.
