We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We really liked the living room, which is open and bright due to its many windows. Our dog was entertained as well as he watched deer and squirrels walking through the woods. The property provides privacy without being secluded. We were really impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked (provided were instant coffees, a wide variety of spices, honey and plenty of pots, pans and cutlery). What also impressed us was the amount of various toiletries that were provided, which we have not typically seen in other places. Overall, a wonderful place, which we visit again soon.

We had a very relaxing weekend away to celebrate my birthday. The kitchen and grill area were well-stocked and we cooked several delicious dinners. The beds were comfortable and the home overall was very comfortable. It was great that it was so close to Skyline Drive and all the beautiful views of the Shenandoah. A perfect getaway from DC.

Nice escape with close proximity to hiking and fishing. Lots of space both inside and out with a nice kitchen stocked with spices. The lake is very close, but didn’t look suitable for swimming

Extended Vacation

We stopped here after vacation in the OBX. It was a perfect way to avoid the post vacation blues. We were able to sit out around a campfire and just chill. It was very comfortable and I felt right at home. I felt well rest after a good nights sleep in luxury bedding. It's a great location and very easy to travel from I-64 to US-522, I-66 to I-81.

Wonderful hidden gem! It was a perfect jumping off spot for a wedding weekend. Very close to Early Mountain Vineyards and other local attractions. Host was helpful in recommending a yummy spot to grab lunch. The Mad Pepper had a great burger, and Yoder’s Market isn’t to be missed! The cottage had all you could possibly need for a quick get away.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect with easy access to the mountains, and the area itself was quiet and peaceful. The place was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and feel at home. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra toiletries in case we forgot anything. Overall, it was a great experience and I would gladly stay here again.

Madison retreat

Everyone loved the cottage and we pleasantly surprised at the well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of toiletries and even a couple of robes in the bathrooms. The property is a great place to gather and we even had a small fire in the pit. I would definitely consider staying there again in the future. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven.

My husband and I had a great time at this cozy property. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Very clean and stocked with plenty of amenities. Very responsive and welcoming host. We will definitely rebook if we are back in the area.
