The room smelled, black mold on ceiling of bathroom. Noisy, Smell of people cooking in their rooms. A depressed area of Madison with many homeless. (The issue is that our culture makes having people who can't afford housing have no place to safely go.)

I picked this property for the price. It is an economy hotel. I did not want to pay the $250 to $600 price for most hotels in the area. I did not expect much, and it was about what I expected. The employees were very nice and helpful. There is a huge mall across the street with shopping and food options. The beds were basic and not typical for a 4- or 5-star hotel. You got coffee and that was it. No mini frig or microwave in the room. There was a microwave in the lobby.

Location was good. That was the only good thing. It was not cleanest, had pest issues, smelled unpleasant. Other guests were loud and noisy

The motel was OK for a 2-star. A lot of things are run down, and need repairs. But the worst was the cockroaches that came out at night. I would spray the room with my own bug spray, but that would only work for a day or two. They don't have an exterminator, which made it worse. Plus at night, they have a security guard, that has to check these little parking passes you must put in your car window, which was cumbersome and annoying to deal with, because I would always forget to put the pass in my window, or lose the pass. Worst of all though, the security guard at night was very disrespectful to my woman. I don't want to repeat what he said, but it was very unprofessional, and unnecessary. He decided to kick my woman off the property forever. So I chose to leave immediately. Don't think I will ever be back. Very bad service, worst in Madison!
