The space
Our space is designed to immerse you in nature while providing all the comforts of home. With an open floor plan and plenty of natural light, you'll feel relaxed and rejuvenated in no time.
The living room is the perfect place to unwind with friends and family, featuring a large stone fireplace that adds a cozy touch while you enjoy the stunning views of the mountains. The lower level is ideal for entertaining, with a bonus bedroom for guests and a cozy room equipped with another TV, a bar, and plenty of games for endless fun.
If you're a beer enthusiast, you're in luck - the new Bear Waters Brewing Company is within walking distance of Rolling Retreat, along with Joey's Pancake, a local favorite.

Pets
We know that pets are an important part of your family, which is why we welcome up to two furry friends with a pet fee. Please note that we have a camera installed and running 24/7 on the property for security purposes, only pointed at the driveway only.

Guest access
As our guest, you'll have easy access to nearby restaurants, local skiing, and the Blue Ridge Parkway while still enjoying the privacy and seclusion of the mountains. Our chalet is located at the end of a wooded cul-de-sac lot with a small stream, providing a peaceful and tranquil setting.

Rest assured that our chalet is accessible year-round, with roads that are serviced in the winter for your convenience. We very close to the main road so in and out is easy in the snow. However, please note that our neighborhood does not allow large trailers.

Stay connected with our 50-inch TV featuring digital cable, Netflix, and Wi-Fi.

Our chalet has three bedrooms, including two on the main floor with one queen and one full bed, and a master loft with a queen bed and a separate full bath. The bonus bedroom also includes a queen bed. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery from our outdoor back patio, complete with another stone fireplace, ample seating, and a fenced-in yard. The front deck includes a grill and outdoor dining area for your convenience.

Fees
Please note that we do have a pet fee, with the amount depending on the number of dogs. The minimum fee is $200. We kindly ask that guests clean out the grill and fireplace after use, and a $25 charge will be applied if it is not done. There is no fee to use them.

Please note we have a camera at the garage door (do not face inside the home at all)

Fantastic home! Close to everything in Maggie Valley. very clean and well kept. Perfect for traveling with dogs. There was a small fenced area to let them out. Home had everything we needed for our stay. Kids loved the basement game room (Nintendo wi and foosball table were both a hit).

Ski Weekend in the Mountains

This property was absolutely fantastic. Clean, well stocked, and very easy to check in and out of. Location is spectacular. Very close to a great dinner spot at BearWater Brewing and very close to Cataloochee ski resort. Would absolutely book here again.

Great for skiing!

Where do we start? This place was amazing for my extended family! We wanted somewhere to stay for the long weekend when the forecast called for snow and great ski conditions. It is a very short drive to Cataloochee. The house is in a private neighborhood with a great view. Yes, there were neighbors but the backyard and side yard were private and we could see elk within feet from the porch! The house felt like three stories. The master loft was perfect with a great size bedroom and bathroom. The main floor was great with two roomy bedrooms and a full bathroom for everyone to use. The lower level was built off the garage and perfect for my two young boys who played games and were able to have their own space. It felt so spacious for our big family. The house was stocked with so much I cannot even list it all. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were fully stocked as well. The beds were honestly the most comfortable we have slept on in a while-away from our own home. We did have to drive a four wheelDrive car to make it up in the neighborhood after getting 6 inches of snow-but after one day the neighborhood road was cleared. The main roads were great though to and from the neighborhood all all times even in the snow. The house is so close to everything -great ski shops, restaurants, candy stores, and even tube world. We loved this place so much we will for sure return to ski again next season. So close to skiing!!!

Peaceful Mountain Cabin

Amazing cabin! Beautiful mountain views, plenty of room, very clean. My son loved the game room and my daughter loved the loft. We saw an elk come out of the woods only a few feet from the deck. My dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard. Best cabin we have stayed at in Maggie Valley by far! Thank you for letting us enjoy this magical place!!

Unhappy experience

The property is old and it sits in a very conjugated community. You sit very close to the neighbors and can view into their decks. The entrance to the house is from a bedroom that makes no sense. The house only has one bedroom that has privacy. The master bedroom is in a loft area with a tiny bathroom. The bed in the master bedroom is not comfortable. The basement was dark and small. Both my kids had allergic reactions from staying and playing in the basement. My son had rash on his face and my daughter started a runny nose and itchy throat as soon as they spent 1 night in the bedroom and playroom.
