Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Amazing location and facility. Easy access to the ski lift, restaurant onsite, and jacuzzi with a killer view. I highly recommend Mammoth Mountain Inn.

Condo with loft accommodated our large family very nicely, but building VERY tired! Shower door wouldn’t close, water sweep on bottom of door “broken”, kept hitting my head on shower head… Overheard neighbor in the hall tell someone “I can’t believe they haven’t chosen ONE of these buildings to renovate!”

Staff was exceptional! Property needs a serious upgrade especially at the going room rates. Hard to keep things clean when everything is so old. Location is perfect, especially in any sort of bad weather. Our room was very noisy. People talking loudly outside our room after we had gone to bed. Floors creaked from folks walking around in the room above ours. Even the closet slides made noise in rooms around us. Bottom of the bathroom door had wood rot which had been painted over. About 1 to 2" was missing from the bottom of the entry door which allowed hallway light to flood in.

Awesome and Easy

The proximity to chairlifts & gondola are unbeatable. we had a great breakfast every morning. and an awesome burger every lunch. the room was nice (and again very VERY close to the slopes). the staff was super friendly and helpful. the morning coffee was good & strong (and the coco too). the ski valets / ski tune-up team were awesome. plus hotel has a very nice pool and three massive hot tubs! This all makes for an awesome and easy day!
