Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Guests are advised to check local road conditions/closures before travel with the California Department of Transportation at www.dot.ca.gov or by calling 800-427-7623.

It's beat up due to heavy use in the winter by skiiers; walls and furniture are banged up from being hit by skis and snowboards. Carpeting smells musty, probably due to melted snow. But really what do you expect from a high-volume ski lodge? For that purpose it's fine. But don't expect luxury.

Staff was excellent, very accomodating to reservation mix up with Expedia. Wait staff in restaurant were friendly and fast. Only negative would be lack of central air in rooms, with box fan being only cooling air.

Roach and bugs in our room, friend's room 2 door down had what appera to be leaks in the bathroom and strong smell.of mildew. Main entrace check in area was quite nice, but the East wing needs some work.

For the extra price of having private bathroom the property needs updating. No a/c only a box fax. The heater wasn't needed but it looked to be a couple of decades old. But it was clean and staff was great.
