This private lakefront home offers incredible lake views of Toledo Bend at mid-lake, perfect for fishing and a large bunkhouse. The wraparound porch includes 350 sq. ft. covered patio. Never get bored on this beautiful lake with 4 kayaks, a paddleboat, paddles and life jackets. The gently sloping property is unusual here, making your stay for young and old alike safe and enjoyable. 350 feet of lakefront give great views and access. The main house sleeps 7 people, including 2 bedrooms, along with 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom contains a queen bed and recently painted, en-suite bathroom with large closet. The master bedroom also has porch access with table and chairs for 2 - perfect for coffee in the morning! The second bedroom features a twin over a full bunk bed and a closet. The second bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway, off from the bedrooms. Both bathrooms include plush white hotel towels and linens. There are two spacious living areas in the main house, one of which features a deluxe queen Murphy bed. A privacy curtain can create a 3rd bedroom in this living area. There is a smart TV, with DirectTV access, as well as WIFI access. The kitchen is perfectly positioned between both living areas. The kitchen features ALL the amenities including, refrigerator, blender, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, microwave, and range with oven and stove. There is an island that seats 4 and a dining table which seats 6. The main house includes an energy-efficient washer and dryer, located in a separate laundry room. Take the pathway, on the side of the main home, which leads to the bunkhouse…. The bunkhouse studio sleeps up to 9 people and includes a full bathroom with bathtub/shower. There are 3 twin over full bunk beds. The bunkhouse also has a kitchen, with a full size refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave, and toaster oven. There is a dining room for 6 and a spacious living area to accommodate all in the bunkhouse. The living area TV with Directv, WiFi access. This space is perfect for all the kids or the whole crew. Just take the pathway to get back to the main house! Read a book and enjoy the views of Toledo Bend on the outdoor patio or at the beach area. The covered outdoor patio can accommodate seating for 12+. It includes a gas propane grill for lunch or dinner cooking, a hammock for relaxing, and…. Close to Toledo Bend there is a beach area, with fold out chairs and beach towels. PLUS: Free and easy access to neighborhood boat launch two doors down. Peaceful lake get away

This was the perfect place to spend time with my family. The settling and house were out of the ordinary. The views of the lake from the house were amazing. I know most people go to Toledo Bend Lake for the fishing but my crew came to enjoy the swimming and kayaking. There is a spot to wade into the water. The lake bottom is clay which can be slick but when you get out into the water the swimming is great. The lake water is refreshing and we would just hang out on our floats. We watched an egret walk along the shore right in front of us. Every few feet he would plunge his head into the water and bring it back up swallowing. The fishing was great for him! We also loved exploring on the kayaks. When the lake was calm we went out along the shore. When the lake was rough we just stayed in the cove. The clay will stain your clothes so bring old beach towels and clothes for anyone playing along the shoreline. My granddaughter and I love cooking together. The kitchen is very well equipped! They even had an air fryer for mac and cheese balls and a hand mixer to whip cream for crepes. It was also a huge plus that there is so much room. My granddaughters loved being able to go out to the bunkhouse to chill or play pool and then come back to the main house for family time. Finally, every time we needed something or had a question, Christie got back to us right away. She was great. We have been renting houses on water for the last 7 years. This was by far the best one.

Wonderful property and Host

This place is just exceptional. We had such a wonderful time. The property is spotless including the large windows over looking the lake. The dock is the perfect spot for a fire with a huge fire pit. There is a great place to get in your kayak and enjoy the beauty of this cove and Toledo Bend. There is a nice fish cleaning station at the dock. The supply room has everything you need and so organized. You don’t have to go searching for anything. Christie is easily accessible. We had no problems on our long weekend. Inside is a great kitchen stocked with anything you want to cook with. The bunk house is perfect and the beds very comfortable. This is such an enjoyable place.

Five star property

This property is set up perfectly for gatherings for enjoying friends and family. The house and bunkhouse have comfortable furniture, and beds. Outside are plenty of places to enjoy from the dock with fire pit and fire wood to a swing with view of this special cove. The bathrooms were very clean with high pressure showers. The people cooking in the kitchen can visit with everyone in the open area. Lastly, my favorite spot was sitting in the comfortable lounge chair with my coffee at the large window watching the cove.

Our family really enjoyed all of the amenities of this property and the views were beautiful! The roads are steep so travel in your trucks😄the host was attentive and answered all our questions. The home satisfied all our needs and the “bunk house” was perfect for my daughter’s family😄

Great Family Trip

My family enjoyed our time here. Very peaceful area with nice views from the many windows and deck. The bunk house is nice and spacious and served as a perfect space for the “younger” ones in our group. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Great long weekend

Some buddies and I enjoyed a long weekend in this great cabin for my bachelor trip. It was the perfect accommodation for a group of our size. Mrs. Christie is super responsive and a great person all around. Super caring and thoughtful. Great property with even better amenities. Will be going back.

Lodging at its Finest

Lodging at it’s finest!! This property is modern and very clean with a comfortable layout both interior and exterior. Perfect place to accommodate a large group. Location was great since it’s fairly close to Toledo Town Tackle and local grocery store. The lodge is neat, well maintained and the setup outside is perfect for group entertainment! Tucked off in a cove made it seem very private and peaceful. Highly recommend. Five star lodging.

Great vaca getaway for 2-3 families

Tucked away in cove where kids and or adults can play off the dock or hop on their boat and cruise or fish. Plenty of relaxing things to do. We all had a wonderful time but time flew by too fast.😊

Great for a large group!

Enough room to feed, seat, and sleep a lot of people. Large deck and wrap around porch were essential for our large group. The kayaks were a hit. The cove was a perfect place for the inexperienced kayaker. There is a level sandy area we used for horseshoes and volleyball. Easy access to the dock and water is great for fishing and docking our boat and jet ski. Plenty of parking, too.

Easter/Birthday weekend

This place is amazing! The adults had the main house all to ourselves (minus the two toddlers) and when put all of the teenagers in the bunkhouse. We saw them when they wanted food! The yard is expansive and had great hiding spots for the Easter eggs. Boat dock (for our boat) kayaks, pedal boat got put to good use from everyone. Nightly campfires and s’mores were a hit. Just hanging out and spending time with family in an incredible place is worth the trip up.

Everything was amazing. The house and view is a 10! Christie was an amazing host.

We will definitely stay here again in the near future. House was stocked with everything and then some. My kids so enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Our host Christie was also so amazing. Check in and out was so easy. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.
