❤️ River access from a cozy log cabin with picturesque grounds! Beautiful year-round, built for experiencing southern nights! This private, elevated cabin allows you to experience nature and country air, while affording you with all the comforts of home. The cabin is set on 10 acres of tree-filled land and bordered on the west by the beautiful Bogue Chitto River. Light shines through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the lovingly decorated living space. The cabin has an open living/kitchen area. There are 2 private bedrooms on the main floor, a loft sleeping area with pool table, and 3 full bathrooms. The large front porch is furnished with two wooden rockers and a swing, the perfect place for morning coffee or evening stargazing. The more private side porch provides a perfect nook for reading your favorite book. Under the cabin there is a heated inflatable spa, 2 tables for outside dining, as well as additional seating areas. The cabin is warmly decorated with art and prints created by local artists and family members. Some of the decor includes items handed down to the owners by their family and treasures that they have collected through the years. Much of the furniture was refurbished and refinished by the owners. They have tried to provide everything you would need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The property is just 3 miles from the main highway, and approximately 10 miles from the city of Mccomb, MS.

INDOOR LIVING:

KITCHEN: Refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, dishware/flatware, drip coffee maker, Keurig pod coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, blender, mixer, air fryer, basic spices, trash bags/paper towels, and cleaning supplies. Dining table with six chairs.

LIVING ROOM: Smart TV, DVD/CD player with expansive library of various DVD’s and CD’s. Karaoke machine, Alexa Echo Show (sign in to use and sign out upon departure), media cabinet with family games, 2 large comfortable sofas (one with sleeper pull-out).

LAUNDRY CLOSET: Washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, detergent and dryer sheets included.
BEDROOMS: Two private bedrooms each with a queen bed. (Main bedroom with en suite bathroom and shower stall). Second bedroom has a desk and printer. Trundle bed in loft area. Linens and pillows provided.

BATHROOMS: Three full bathrooms, one centrally located, one en suite to the main bedroom, one in the loft area. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryers, and septic safe toilet paper provided. Bath towels, wash cloths provided. Cabin is on a septic system. Please only use the provided septic safe toilet paper and do not flush wipes or sanitary items, even if they say “flushable”.

LOFT/GAMEROOM: Loft with genuine slate pool table, dart board, smart TV, record player, retro gaming system, previously mentioned full bath with shower stall and twin trundle bed. Loft is accessed by “witch's stairs” (alternating tread stairs). Care must be taken when using these stairs.

OUTDOOR LIVING:

Charcoal grill, fire pit, wood provided (must observe any municipal fire decrees, especially total burn bans), ample outdoor seating and dining areas, heated inflatable spa ready to go, tire horse swing, four square net (volleyball and badminton gear provided, cornhole game, lawn croquet, flag football set, horse shoes, hammocks throughout the property, hiking, swimming, and kayak activities with life preservers and throw ring provided, please do not use indoor towels outside, outdoor towels and blankets located above the washing machine (Kayak deposit required, option given at checkout and can be added at anytime, message owner for add-on. *Swim and kayak at your own risk* moderate river currents are usually present but may increase during times of high water level. Novice kayakers may want to start kayaking upriver and drift back to the launch site. —-- NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!)

- Refundable damage deposit placed as hold on card, see deposit section for details
- If using provided kayaks, there is a separate refundable damage/loss deposit
- Pet fee (paid pre-trip, dogs only, no cats, 2 dogs max, no pets on furniture).
- No littering in the outdoor area. Littering may result in deposit penalties. Guests must sign a rental agreement.
- NOTE: The property requires stairs to access, 10 foot elevation (no elevator).

-One ring camera on the porch, no other normally functional cameras or listening devices. (The Alexa device technically has a camera and microphone but it should not be signed in to any account and guests are more than welcome to unplug the Alexa device).

-Water supplied by a well.
