The first room we were shown to was completely run down and had a funny smell. There was a huge spider in the bathtub. When we asked to see what else was available the staff was very polite and put us in a much better room. After the move to the new room I would say my biggest complaint was the lack of WiFi. The breakfast was okay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! my room was so dirty, looked like carpet hasn’t been vacuumed in months, along with pile of dirt/bugs in corner by front door, under the bed is disgusting, I found a dead cockroach in my room, my brother found a live one in his, there are open areas on corners of walls with sharp metal sticking out that I cut my arm on. Outside lights don’t work in most areas, only above where the maintenance guy lives. Heat lamp above shower had no bulb, no cover and it was full of dirt. I got what I am hoping is only flea bites all around my ankles, better not be bedbugs! Shower head barely spits out water. Water stained ceiling tile in bathroom. Breakfast is sub-par.

Hoping for better

Room was not throughly cleaned prior to visit. There was lint/dirt on carpet and hair in bathtub. The main lamp was without a light bulb so we fumbled in the dark finding another lamp to turn on. Comforter on the bed isn’t a comforter at all. Barely a light blanket that barely covers the bed. When we went to breakfast, food was gone, there was no employee to help or refill items.

Definitely not a luxury stay, but is adequate for a quick night’s sleep in the road which is all we needed. Overall, it was safe and convenient, but the facilities and rooms could use updating and better cleaning. Both our rooms had some dead bugs, and did not look thoroughly cleaned, but were not terribly dirty either. Our tub had mildew stains around the edges on the caulking (bleach can remove this!) and the tub itself was very worn and discolored from age. Breakfast is included, but was a little sad. Overall, you get what you pay for. Not bad, but not really that great either.

I rented 2 rooms. One room had dirty sheets and had get new bedding. The door looked like it had a pry bar used on it. One room was covered in mold/mildew. They gave us a new room that had a floor that needed vacuumed and the carpet was wet by the door. Both rooms had dead bugs.

Afordable price if you are not picky

It was extremely affordable, not many options with so many hotels sold out for the State Fair. We were a late check-in, and told it was the last two rooms at check- in. Nobody waz at the desk, had to call someone to check-in. The room was not up to my cleanliness standards, (see pictures rm 302) and obviously had safety issues missing a secondary lock. We had other family that stayed and their room wasn't in as bad of condition but the tv in their room did not work rm 352, and they said the bathroom was disgusting with stains. We were not even there 11 hours so we made do with it. The breakfast was great, lots of options, and actual hot food sausage, eggs, potato. We did not see or use the pool. It was very dark at night without a lit sign, and a poorly lit entrance. I also could hear everyone in the hallway being loud, but did not hear them once in the room. The room had an interior hall door and an exterior door which made loading and unloading easy. The property has great potential.

Great breakfast with several choices and real breakfast items. There was biscuit and gravy, eggs smoked sausage along with options like fruit, coffee, juice, oatmeal, toast, pastries, yogurt and more. We stay at motels frequently and it was the most complete breakfast I have seen recently. Overall good stay, quiet, with clean room. Not fancy but great value at price for roon.
