Nice little town. Great staff always helpful. Dinner was fantastic in their restaurant. Stayed in the 3rd floor, no lift. We pre packed clothes in a backpack to help save carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs.
Broomhall looks better from the outside than inside. It needs some serious updating of furniture, beds and carpeting. Food was very mediocre and expensive for what you received. On the positive side the rooms were spacious and w large windows and views overlooking the valley. Staff was friendly but not terribly responsive. I had an issue w a shower door that never was addressed in my four nights. It is a convenient location to Stirling and there is plenty of parking.
This is a wonderful hotel, the rooms are big, clean etc. the only hiccup was no elevator. We were on the top floor and my husband popped his knee on the way up. The manager was very kind and understanding. Great hikes right from the parking lot. Would stay there again. Food was excellent.
Gorgeous place, convenient for Stirling. Friendly staff, great restaurant, all you could want for breakfast. Bar, great sitting area. I mean, it's a CASTLE! We had the honeymoon suite which was spectacular. All in all a great experience
We had an incredible stay at the hotel! The staff truly made our experience memorable. A special shoutout to Logan, who was incredibly helpful and kind. He generously upgraded us to a different room at no extra charge—what a wonderful gesture!
Then there was Lizzy, the bartender, who felt like an angel sent from heaven. She was not only extremely kind but also had a beautiful smile and an astonishing personality. We had such a fantastic day in this lovely place!
It’s a castle! There were a couple of minor things with the room that were taken care of immediately by the super helpful and friendly staff. Recommended 😊
We got bad directions thru google coming in at night and made 3 wrong turns before finding the entrance. Signage isnt lit or big enough. Beds are hard. Shower took 5 mins to get warm. However, dinner was excellent and the restaurant owner was utterly delightful and accomodating!

While near Stirling
I really enjoyed my stay at Broomhall Castel Hotel, the staff were excellent and the food was very tasty i can highly recommend
Hotel was dated and breakfast was poor, never had a meal at night as found the menu was rather small and nothing of interest on it.
Ordered a bottle of champagne to be on ice on our arrival to find a bottle of Prosecco so that got left. Booked the garden view room with the four poster bed and ended up with a completely different room with very dated worn out furniture and iron burn marks on the carpet.
Found the place to have a stoor smell about it too.
Breakfast was another experience, weak coffee, slightly warm breakfast which was clearly not cooked to order and break juice was evidently diluting juice and not fresh orange. For a romantic night away I wouldn’t be advising this place to anyone. The only good thing about our stay was the company I was in and getting away from it the next day.
Greeted by owner right away. She showed us to our rooms. She even upgraded one of our rooms to a lower level for easier access by our older friend. Supper was great and breakfast was fast and tasty
Comfortable room. Nice size. Hotel & restaurant are different companies, Restaurant menu is quite small as it’s a small hotel tucked out of the way, but the food is really good quality for the price & it’s not too far to Stirling or Alva if you are staying for a long stay as we were, if you wanted to try something else. The hotel front of house staff/bar staff are very friendly & pleasant
