Treat yourself to a nature and heritage getaway just 1.5 hours from Paris in the heart of the Loire Valley.

Located between the medieval town of Beaugency and Meung-sur-Loire, Gîte La Talonnière is ideally situated (4 km) from the Loire à Vélo (EuroVelo 6) and Iberian (EuroVelo 3) cycling routes, as well as other cycling loops.

Our house is the perfect starting point for discovering the picturesque villages and unspoiled landscapes of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ideal location for exploring:

The Loire Valley castles: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Meung-sur-Loire, Beaugency, Orléans Cathedral, Cléry-Saint-André Abbey, and the famous Beauval Zoo/Safari Park.

Just a short walk away, the Jardin de la Huppe, near the school and within walking distance, is a safe play area for children.

A bread and pastry service is available at the nearby bar, subject to prior reservation made the day before for delivery to the bar from 9:00 am the following day, except on closing days or during annual holidays.

This family-friendly cottage is the ideal starting point for your holidays in the Loire Valley: bike rides, historical discoveries, nature activities, and relaxing breaks. This holiday home includes, on the ground floor, a beautiful 46 m² living area with a lounge, dining room, fully equipped open-plan kitchen, and a separate toilet with a washbasin.

Upstairs, there is a bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet, washing machine) and three bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm), one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200cm), and one bedroom with a single bed (90cm) and two single beds (80cm) that can be joined to make a queen-size bed (160cm). Each bedroom has roller shutters.

You can enjoy the terrace and private courtyard at the rear of the house, complete with a lounge area, garden furniture, a gas griddle, and a ping-pong table for family fun.

You will have private parking for two cars in the front of the house, in the gated courtyard. Free public parking is also available 20 meters away.

Heating is included.

A reinforced charging point for electric vehicles is available in the parking area upon request; pricing is based on the kWh consumed via the app. This accommodation is NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility.
