MKE Mansion - East Wing Private Home

Our historical Tudor revival mansion is spacious, uniquely built and perfectly located. With plenty of rooms, and well hidden additional beds, we can accommodate many groups. Less half a mile from Lake Michigan. When leaving in any other direction you are a short walk to ALL popular attractions including McKinley Beach, Milwaukee Art Museum, Summerfest, Brady St, Water St, 3rd Ward, Milwaukee Yacht Club, and much more. With an 'Instagramable' interior laiden with new European Furnishings.

The beautiful mansion was designed in 1903 by the renowned architect Alexander C. Eschweiler. Our entire home has been furnished with brand new modern European furnishings, including smart bulbs and smart light switches, and guest accusable security cameras on the entrance and doorbell.

This listing is for East Wing of the mansion. The mansion has two wings seperated with solid walls and two private entry ways.

Upon entry you will be greeted with a large sunroom featuring a bench and a table that is ideal for morning coffee and reading. Next you will enter a small wet room, before entering a large vestibule with a great location for hanging your jackets and storing your shoes. Additionally our first floor is host to one half bathroom and a large living room.

When ascending the wide 360 degree staircase you will find the second floor that is home to two full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen, and beautiful dining room that allows wonderful light from the sun in.

Our mansion is split into two separate homes with exclusive access into and out of each home. Guests will access a private shared driveway and rear car lot. This home is located on the first and the second floor of the mansion. Guests will have full access to the entire space (excluding the basement.)

We are happy to be comminated with throughout a guests stay and our cell phone numbers will be provided to any booked guests. Additionally guests can talk to us through the lobby security cameras.

Set amongst some of Milwaukee's finest historical mansions on the Lower East Side. The surrounding neighborhood is ideally located near most of Milwaukee's biggest attractions. To name just a few:

With a 4 minute walk to Milwaukee's vibrant Brady Street can be sure to find any food and entertainment you desire.

Each booking comes with 2 parking spots on the private car lot at the rear of the house, these spaces are shared with one other unit. Extra parking may be available depending on second unit calendar. (Contact us for details.)

On street parking can be found usually within a block or two on the one way road. For overnight parking permission guest can call in their cars or visit the Milwaukee overnight parking to register their vehicles.

The location has a 98% score for transport and walking as the free downtown rail is a block away, you are also on a main road with a bus stop on the near corner, and as you are in the heart of Milwaukee there is usually plenty of ride share options available.

The third bedroom is only accessible through walking through the second rear bedroom. Each rental comes with 2 guaranteed parking spaces although more may be available upon special request.

Please don’t rearrange our furniture, don’t eat in the bedroom, and clean the kitchen after you use it.
You may need to rearrange the venitunas. This is fine but we ask you to return them to the original layout.
Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.
Our neighborhood is important to us, and most residents live here full-time. Please respect the community and try to avoid making loud noise between 11 pm and 8 am.
Smoking is not allowed inside the home, but you can smoke in outdoor areas such as the car park, or garden.
Before checking out please be sure to:
Close all windows and make sure exterior doors are closed and locked when you leave.
Return all Furniture to original layout
Wash all your kitchenware and leave on the drying rack.
Take all trash backs to the trash bins located in the rear of the house.
Place all used linens and bedding in the bathtub.
Ensure all TV remotes are placed below or next to the TV
Clean barbeque and any other equipment that may gather bacteria
Any electronics such as wireless chargers and smart switches must be returned to their original location. (Any unlocated appliances and electronics will be charged to renter.) As a general rule, “if you didn't bring the device, leave it onsite.”
