Private Cove is a brand new lakefront home with amazing views on the Private Side of Lake Anna. This charming waterfront retreat is the perfect spot for large groups to create unforgettable memories. Take in the gorgeous blue lake water views and breathtaking sunsets from the private sandy beach, large dock, outdoor fire pit, or enclosed furnished deck. Our fully stocked home offers fun activities for the whole family, including games, ping pong, a hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, and water toys.

You have full access to our entire house, our property, and the community common area. Please let us know if you plan to rent a Pontoon Boat so we can refer you to our premier partner, DV Rentals LKA!



The Neighborhood:

Elk Creek Landing is a new premier waterfront residential community located in the perfect spot near the center of Lake Anna on the exclusive private side. With over 3,400 acres of pristine clear blue water surrounding this property, it is perfect for boating, swimming, fishing and water skiing. The community area has a pavilion and many large blue roofed covered boat slips directly adjacent to the private boat ramp. Our home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac with a private driveway and ample parking.



This home is located on the private side of Lake Anna, which is not connected to the public side. The two sides of the lake are separated by dikes and are not navigable by watercraft. If you plan to bring your personal boat or jet skis, you will have access to the community boat ramp during your stay—from 4:00 PM on the day of your arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of your departure.



Getting Around:

Elk Creek Landing is the newest and most premier neighborhood at Lake Anna, while it's generally a quiet neighborhood, there is some ongoing new construction. We have ample free parking at our home for large groups with many vehicles.



Other Things to Note:

If there’s something you need and it's not listed, please ask for more information! Our fully equipped home is ready to go with a spacious gourmet kitchen that easily accommodates a large group or entire family with lots of countertop space, a pantry, new stainless steel appliances, and all the tools you need to make your own world famous super secret recipe. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy our plentiful outdoor spaces, and dock, deck, porch, and grill. We have all kinds of fun activities including water toys, a fire pit, smart TV's, board games, books, and an assortment of toys. If you want to use a Boat or Jet Ski during your stay, you have access to a nearby boat ramp and our private slip. We also offer everything you would need for an extended stay including a washer & dryer.

- Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.

- 12 Adults Maximum

- Free Parking for up to 8 Vehicles. (No Parking or Driving on Grass)

**Guest Requirements:**

In compliance with local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years old to book, and those under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the reservation.



Important: Before check-in, the primary guest must complete our Guest Verification process. This helps us comply with short-term rental regulations and provides added protection for guests and the property.

After booking, you will receive a secure link to complete verification. Please complete it prior to arrival to ensure a smooth, quick check-in.

Damage protection is required for every reservation, regardless of where you booked. During verification, you will choose one of the following options:

- $40 per night non-refundable damage waiver (recommended): no security hold and a simpler, faster process.

- $3,000 refundable security deposit: requires a hold on a card and may take several business days to release after check-out, subject to any damage charges.

We use Yale keyless entry smart door locks and give you space but are available if you have any questions or need anything.

Incredibly happy with everything about Private Cove lakefront house. Our stay at Private Cove was amazing! We loved the home’s layout which included a first floor master suite and great office space for those of us who had to work during our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. Lake Anna is a beautiful lake and the family enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing off the dock. The host did a great job communicating and responding to our questions or concerns. We would definitely recommend Private Cove if you’re looking for that perfect spot on Lake Anna.

Great property for family gatherings, spacious enough for everyone to have their own space and lots of gathering spaces for family time as well. The modern kitchen is well stocked with lots of appliances and new pots and pans. There are TVs in every room and great entertainment space in the basement with ping pong table, pac man arcade and video games. The communication from the host was clear and informative with timely responses. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home and area. Very dirty outside, front porch, around door. Cobwebs and bugs all over. Back sliding door the same. Downstairs dirty, all corner walls. Bugs and cobwebs. Some pots and pans filthy. Could use update on cookware and utensils.

Amazing Property!

This house was fantastic! The room set ups with the attached bathrooms were great for the kids, the kitchen was airy and plenty of seating for eating and relaxing, and everything was clean and smelled great. Loved the extra fridge/freezer for additional food. The best place to eat was definitely the enclosed porch. To be able to sit outside without getting attacked by bugs was such a perk! The kids spent all day in the water. It was shallow enough for them to stand and super clear, plus they loved playing on the beach. The hosts were extremely responsive to all inquiries and requests and even came same day to bring us some more kiddie life vests! Would definitely look at staying at one of their properties again next year.

Amazing House!

We rented this house to take our 17 year old son and his friends for a lake getaway to celebrate the end of the school year. It was a fantastic trip for them. The house had every amenity possible both inside and at at the lake. The hosts, Daniel and Zach, were incredibly responsive, nice, and helpful. The location of the house was perfect. Close to the Food Lion and restaurants and of course lakefront! There was nothing we needed at all and even if we did, I know help was just a phone call away. It was such a hit, that we're already planning to rent this house again! Highly recommend this home for your lake getaway.

We had a wonderful family holiday here

We had an absolutely delightful Christmas stay at this spacious and inviting home! The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, even providing some charming holiday touches that made our stay extra special. Communication was easy...they were exceptionally responsive to us. Our extended family of kids, parents and grandparents all found the property lovely. It's a brand new home that was very clean and well with furnished everything needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it a breeze to prepare our holiday meals together. The kids played non stop with all the amenities: air hockey, golf, board games, kayaks, a hot tub and more. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate the holiday season together. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable getaway! We’ll be back too.

Beautiful Home and Overall Experience

The home is gorgeous—very impressive size and space for a large group. The rooms are spacious, with enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Our group had three teenagers - and the accommodations weren't as ideal for them. One room has two bunk beds, which only works if you have 4 same-sex teenagers or individuals. The place was very clean, however, the cleaning company missed a few drawers with clothes from previous guests in the master room. The toaster had chewing gum in it, and there were crumbs in drawers and the oven...but overall the home was tidy. I'm sure it's a difficult task to turnover a house that large in 24 hours' time. The owner was very responsive and extremely accommodating. We would definitely book this location again.
