B’aaaad hotel and room

Absolutely the worst. Hotels.com rates this property with 2.5 stars. But this hotel has nothing. Not even a coffee maker on the room. Carpets are dirty. Building is old and falling apart. Room rate is very high. No pool and no fitness center.

Not Red Lion quality

Hotel is very run down. Beams in the roof are rotted. Springs in the Chair in the room were gone and you sank in the hole. Unrepaired holes in the walls. No towels in the room and when we asked for some at the front desk we were told they were out. Had to use hand towels to dry off after a shower. Front desk staff were so tied to their phones that they barely acknowledged us in the morning.

The entire property is nasty and unsafe. The shower was covered in pink and black slime. The lobby smelled like urine, the front desk attendant was creepy, and the bed was threadbare. I felt like I could get robbed at any point. Totally unsafe for a single mom traveling alone. I would not eat the breakfast there based on the condition of my room either.

Stains everywhere and on everything. Chair had a huge stain on the seat. Something splattered all over the wall. Bugs on the walls. Carpet was hideous. My poor wife walked in, took a look around, said "oh hell no", and walked right back out to the car.

Location is good. Check-in experience and staff interaction was fine. The sheets and towels seemed clean and the pillows were excellent. The room was not clean. The floor was wood laminate and made our socks dirty immediately. There were several long hairs on the bathroom floor. It was fairly clear that the room hadn’t been swept and definitely not mopped recently. The couch in the room didn’t seem like it had been vacuumed or anything recently. Most curiously, the dresser top had several holes drilled into it. This was a serviceable room in a somewhat rundown motel. If the room had been clean, I honestly wouldn’t have had any complaints.

Red Lion is definitely not the quality it used to be. Difficult to get service at the front desk. Lobby was filthy. Trash cans were overflowing. Windows were filthy. No toilet in the restrooms rags on the floor. No toilet paper. No in room coffee??? Also no brewed decaf. Very disappointed. The exterior looks like it’s in total disrepair, and the grounds are terrible. The room had spackle all over the place. Sheets had stains on them. One of the hand towels looked like it was dirty. Won’t be back. And would not recommend.

Dirty rundown hotel. DO NOT STAY!!

One on the worst hotel experiences I have had. The hotel is very rundown and filthy. Took pictures. Sheets were stained, etc. Booked 2 nights, did not even stay the second night it was so bad. I have stayed at Red Lion many times and they were great. This place was really disappointing!! Will not use Hotels.com again. Need to seek refund.
