While the room itself was clean, the customer service from the front desk rep needs work. My husband and I found cigarette stains in the bathroom, the room reeked of cigarettes, and the TV was not working. The room was supposed to be smoke-free. Not only did we not get an apology, but the front desk worker kept making excuses and was rude/accusatory. He fixed the TV, but that was pretty much it. We only stayed because we were tired from traveling all day, and it was too late at night to find a different hotel or inn. We would've let it slide and understood the circumstances if we were AT LEAST given an apology. Unfortunately, I am unable to overlook that rep's behavior. I would've given the staff and service 1 star, but the cleaning ladies were at least very nice, so I gave it two stars.
